Patch Size

I just got home and opened my launcher, got a whooping 4GB download. I read the patch notes and it seemed only like bugfixes, but that size clues to a massive update/new system. Anything that I'm missing here? And anyone that logged in the game so far can tell me the state of PVP Campaigns? Such as, have they merged, anyone got reward, etc. Thanks a lot, back to Skyrim.

It's actually 8GB. Happy downloading.

There were some changes to the lighting system, and FoV slider added, which probably accounts for some of the bulk! Also a new VR dungeon.

*** me 8GB? Tonight I finish Solstheim then lol thanks for the answer. Ahh yes I'm unware of how much space would cost such changes in the lighting, the pictures are impressive for sure. And I think I rushed reading because I didn't see any addition of a VR dungeon. And *** you Zenimax, nerfing Dark Deal, at least give free full respects so you can change the skill lines without *** us off. Any updates on the campaigns?

I wrote that at the same time he posted so I didn't see his post, and he answered to something I wasn't complaining about. You two fail. I support the game since it was announced and will continue to do so because I believe in it. So stop waste your time trying to be smart mouth and leave the thread to people that can post feedback on the campaign changes.

Tbh, I didn't see any rage or even upset on this thread - just someone asking a simple question about patch size, which I answered.

Some members here are far too keen to read into posts something that isn't actually there.

Most of the threads here seem to take a particular path:
OP: Asks reasonable question or expresses mild disappointment
Reply 1: "Go and play something else then"
Reply 2: "Fed up with everyone moaning and Q.Q"
Reply 3: "L2P"
It's as if most people don't actually read the initial post at all. All I see is a question being asked.

My apologies, I did read it as Q.Q. In my defence 9/10 posts on here are Q.Q because it is customer support I guess. I'm a TES fan since the days of Daggerfall in zone chat & in guild chat there are waves of complaints so I get a little over it. Sorry for misreading the original post OP.

Lighting system my card wont render. Yet Im stuck with an overly huge patch and stupid load times for it. Great.

Better hope it doesn't do to you what it did to me. I got slapped with a fatal client error after my 5 hour download, Now I'm having to download it again

jaysus - i started the downloader going about 2 hours ago, checked it after half an hour or so and it said 2gb left to go, so i left it...

just came back to it and another 2gb to go!! would be nice if there was a download total so i can busy myself doing other things rather than waiting for a 4gb download that actually turns out to be 8gb.

not fussed that it is 8gb, would've just planned my time better with that knowledge in hand.
