Fighters Guild - can't level up any more

Hi.

I've reached level 7 in the Fighters Guild skill line. I already have 835 points, however I can't seem to be able to gain them more. I've defeated a lot of undead and daedra, but still have the same number of points.

What level are you and what level are the mobs? Maybe destroy Dark Anchors?

I'm level 43, playing for the Ebonheart Pact in the last region (The Rift). The mobs are around my level or slightly lower. I destroyed a couple of Dark Anchors, but still nothing.

I got to level to 10 in Fighters Guild by always having at least one Guild ability(skill) on my bar and using it constantly, in my case it was(and still is) Silver Bullets and then it's morph Silver Shards. This leveled me really quickly.

I think maybe @freespirit nailed it, you need a guild skill slotted to benefit from kill XP, I bet you haven't at the moment.

If you want to level it really quick have your secondary bar be all Fighter Guilds skills, then switch to it for quest turn ins. I did this with my resto staff and caught up over 20 levels in about a zone.

So the number of skills slotted for a line affects line leveling?

I dont have any fighter guild skills learned or slotted and am at rank 9 almost 10....it levels based on killing undead and daedra (player vamps count) because i have spent 90% of my time in cyrodil

I don't have a Fighter's Guild skill slotted (though I do use passives from the line).

I have level 10 simply from finishing the Fighter's Guild questline and doing Dark Anchors/killing undead or daedra.

Perhaps it caps based on progression in the quest? Have you completed the full line?

I'm like 99% sure you can't progress the Fighters Guild skill line except through 1)fighting daedra (closing dark anchors, killing mobs in Coldharbour, etc.) and 2)doing the Fighters Guild quests. If you've been closing anchors and killing daedra but the XP bar isn't moving, you should definitely put in a ticket. You never know when something screwy can happen.

You get xp for fighters guild killing world bosses also just not much sadly
