Worst community.

So..

After having to face with many and I mean many bugs, glitches errors and others ways preventing me to play the game propperly or to play it all.

I have to stomach the issue that the ingame community is horrible.
Every dungeon group I encountered so far, lacked the decensy and the social communicaiton skills to even finish 1 entire dungeon group.

I really feel like this game was a huge waste of my money and my time.

People are to obsessed with their own character that they randomly select roles in the LFG system just to get a group without thinking about the consequences.

When you're a character only capable on providing dmg you should not select the healer role nor a tank role.

At first the game mechanics and bugs where my problem but it got better overtime..
But the community.. it's horrible it's even worse than world of warcraft.

All this negative crap has cost me 80 euro.

To save yourself from having waste a large amount of money only to find out the developer is screwing you over with a non functional product and a socially *** community ruining your every chance to get some fun.

I'm always interested in knowing which server and alliance people are talking about in these threads. For reasearch purposes. I assume the community is more or less the same everywhere, but I'm still curious.

Join a guild. In pve most are just going whatever they want to. I've meet several ppl in pve and they've been cool. It's just like life. Don't expect everyone to be lovely.

They rarely care for other players. People would drag mobs to me when I'm trying to unlock a chest.Just so I would get in combat so they could steal the chest from me. etc.

Joining a guild is not a solution, either they have progressed beyond my current level or they just don't give a dam about new comers. Or they just want to use the guildstore.

I can understand the potential frustration of several languages in zone chat. I'm not sure what to tell you about that.

As stated before, if you can find a decent guild, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the group centric portion of the game without random people.

I will say, regarding the idea that people train mobs to you while you are unlocking a chest... I've never seen the mechanic work like that. Even if they die, the mob returns to it's original point. Mobs do spawn near many chests, though. Perhaps that's what you are noticing. Remember that you have a short cooldown before you can retry a chest... so if you had another person nearby, they might have started it up during that cooldown.

First, let's clarify that it isn't the developers fault if the community sucks lol
Then, this is a bad thing surely but the mobs won't attack you if they are engaged by another player. You don't sound like someone that played the game a lot.. How can you judge the community? :\

Interesting. I've had quite pleasant experience in European AD. Not as good as DC, where I had some of the best conversations, but acceptable. Almost no problems with dungeons that you describe. Only once I ran into a nightblade with tagged healer role even though he couldn't heal. Sure, there were some dungeon runs with poor communication, but it's to be expected, it wasn't unmanageable - and I had a few excellent runs too.

I guess I'll count myself lucky then.

No I'm sharing my opinion on a serious matter in a fresh game what has led to many people abandoning their subscription which could lead to the very down fall of the game on a large scale in due time. Leaving zenimax and Bethesda to drastic meassures as making the game f2p and p2win.

In the rare circumstance that they can drag a mob with that type of ability... let them die, or let them finish and interact with the quest. If you think they did it on purpose, report them.

You can't pirate multiplayer games, and multiplayer games are the only ones where the community can spoil your gameplay, so this makes absolutely no sense.

Just want to mention that the game design does NOT foster a sense of community nor does it encourage players to help each other.
    • The simple ability to group is made arduous.
    • About 99% of the content is designed as single-player being very dialog-heavy, linear and phased.
    • Rather than listing potential groups to join, the game assigns you to groups as it sees fit.
    • Players are basically penalized for repeating dungeons with very low xp so most people running dungeons are doing it for the first time or haven't run it in ages.
    • Guilds are marginalized by allowing people to join 5 of them (primarily for access to guild stores).
    • Etc.

It's like this game was designed by the spoiled brat consumerist generation.

I agree with this 100%. This is my main concern for the game. PC MMO players expect to be able to run dungeons and get xp, expect to be able to help friends with quests, etc. All of this was hammer on in beta for a very long time, but summarily ignored. Maybe the console crowd will like it better, but this kind of thing sucks for what is supposed to be an MMO. In many ways, it's a single player RPG you have to pay 15 bucks a month to access.

Well at the risk of sounding racist.

I find it difficult to cope with people who decide to play a English languaged multiplayer game. And still prefer to use their own native language regardles of the set common public English language.

They even advertise in their own language and they don't and you reply on their add they will respond in their own language asuming you can understand.

Most of them do not even try, too use the general language.
For me it's spam, it's something I can't understand and it's something I do not wish to see plus it's something I can't propperly reply on.

It's a MMO where certain or many aspect mainly in pvp and pve dungeons are only achievable by playing together. If I wanted to play a SP game I'd reinstall my copy of skyrim dragonborn.

Well, currently I only own 1 character.
I started playing a argonian templar speccing healing.

But I had a hardtime progressing on my own once I was level 23 so I rerolled a dragon knight and got up to level 23. He was a heavy armor 2handed dammage dealer. Solo play was to easy and got boring really quickly.

THan I rolled a knightblade archer, with medium armor.
It's dmg was poor abnormally poor once I hit level 23..

I tried to reroll a ne wnightblade with cloth and destruction staf and siphoning which was awesome good dmg out put both solo play and dungeon / pvp play.

    So there you have it.

I have played multiple classes and multiple roles.

All leading to the same issue, players groups being horrible .
