Launcher Freeze

I was playing fine yesterday. But then all of a sudden this happens, and the launcher is stuck.

So I do all the routine stuff like bypassing the launcher.exe and running the client directly to no avail (even though I installed the msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll like it told me to), and I was then getting all those 0xc000007b errors.

So I uninstalled the client and tried to reinstall it, only to find that the launcher is stuck like the above for all eternity.

I have been through many 'dll' problems while gaming, especially with Steam games, and though I consider myself pretty resilient to these kinds of errors now, I have raised both hands in surrender with my ESO launcher.

Despite all the bugs and quirks that have all been a real twitch in the eye, I have plowed through half of the veteran content, but this may be the push over the edge that I 'needed'.

Any help would be grateful.

sympathies. my launcher has been on the eternal loading spin for a few days now.
