Can't move after combat

Tonight I'm frequently experiencing being frozen in place after killing mobs. I've tried using W and the up arrow key, tried rebinding other keys instead, but that didn't work. I have to log out and back in when this happens, but it's happening about every 10 minutes. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm a Nightblade, if that matters.

long standing problem and yes it happens to all class's. only fix is a re-log. Just another in the list of 100's of long stand bugs/crashes/broken crap that continues to be ignored.

Couple of times tonight I couldn't move during combat, could still swing my swords and crack off abilities but my character was rooted to the spot.

Had to spam hidden blade to stay alive as the mobs were moving out of range and swords couldn't reach them, even though they can reach you with a sword from ten bleedin metres away.

Once combat finished I could go merrily on my way.

Sometimes I'm being stuck and can't move. It's caused by buggy fire rune, if cast gets interrupted sometimes you can't move after.
Just recast fire rune and you should be fine.

I'm 99% sure I got this after using fire rune as well. Thanks for the feedback, all!

This is happening to me constantly in Craglorn. I'm not using fire rune, either. Getting quite annoying. The endless bugs are really grating on my nerves.

Same. Since last weeks patch this has happened to me numerous times. Difficult to do group content or long dungeons/quests with this issue.

This happens to me at least a couple of times every night. It is extremely annoying.

I tought the same but then it happened that I took it off my skill bar and it kept happening to me.

More like a volcanic rune activation seems to do the trick and gets you free than it being the reason for you being blocked.

Today I had this problem without using rune while healing, and healing springs seem to do the same trick.

Fix this bug. Seems like it should be higher priority than lighting.

Just encountered this bug myself while fighting with my Destro staff against some Alits. Straight after spamming Fire Ring until all the mobs were dead, I couldn't move in any direction or jump.
I can roll, I can weapon swap, and and I can cast spells - but I can't move anywhere. Reloadui does not work.
Only thing that fixed it was a relog.

It's now September, and this is still an issue. I've been having the problem since the last update-- Sorc, not even using fire rune/ring. Sometimes, I can still use my staff, sometimes not.

Happening to my DK and NB as well. Obviously not users of VR.
Has only happened in Cyrodiil so far; not a good place for that to happen...
