I don't use randomisers, I generally alter the settings until I get something I like, and it usually starts by me moving the bar in the wrong direction.
People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!
    Wizard's first rule
    Passion rules reason
    Wizard's third rule
Mind what people Do, not what they say, for actions betray a lie.
    Wizard's fifth rule
Willfully turning aside from the truth is treason to one's self
    Wizard's tenth rule

The only time I've tried randomizer was when I was checking out argonians.. but I hate the way they look, so I gave up on them (and dem catz too). Bretons are the master race! Well, females at least :D

No. A lot of random variations tend to look very freakish. I do like to spend some time to come up with the character design, as well as the name. My record is about 4 hours total (not all at once, mind you. Designed, rolled, played around in the first area, deleted, corrected, rerolled).

For one, my Nightblade's name is Misan Thrope, and he's big (though not too burly), gruff and unkempt-looking.

I do have more RP-friendly characters, but most of them are lowlevel crafting\banking mules at this point.
