Sorcerer have 1500 DPS - seriously?

No. The balancing should be completely different for PVE/PVP. There should be two different sets of skill mechanics and stats for PVP and PVE.
One of the clearest examples of why is this needed was the nerf to Stealth Crit Death Stroke and morphs. Was it maybe cheap in PVP ? Maybe. I didn't use there ever. Has the skill lost most of it's value for PVE? Most definitely. It is just 2 locked skill points for me now.

So next will be class-free: this is absolutely sh*t when game have different skills mechanic for PVE and PVP (i.e. EQ2, GW2, SWTOR)

The NB in your video was out of magicka... they can do about 1k for a bit then activate Siphoning, get magicka back(OP Siphoning) while doing slightly less dps then stop it again and so on. He also has his ultimate preloaded.

They are all about the same dps... only the casual players that don`t have the talent to do much dps anyway still think that DK, Sorc and NB are not about equal in the DPS department with NB still having a lot of broken skills.

Sorcs must use the ranged pet at least... and the ultimate. Otherwise they drop below dk/nb dps.

If they buff the NB again like the bad players are asking its GG as they will be the dominant class...

Maybe FTC too bugged, OK, but look at numbers - he is spamming Funnel Health and it's crits for 900+. This is insta skill, with great heal for you and 2 another allies. Crippling Grasp - DOT with insane damage. Also LA trick, add here Ultimate Veil of blades and here is - 1k DPS.

Night Blade with no pets...you do realize that you made my point? Night Blades do not have pets, and if you mention shades, those last 20 seconds. You have to cast again. Sorcs are the only class with pets, so saying that you want a sorc video without pets doing over 1k dps is denial of one of the capstone abilities of sorcs. The ability to summon pets.

That is your pesonal choice and issue. That is like telling a dragon knight to dps but they cannot use ardent flame tree because you dont like it.

You set this thread up as some sort of whine fest about how you cant do 1k dps and how sorcs must be the underdogs of class power. But then you insist that you will not accept examples of sorcs doing over 1k if they use pets? I am not saying that things cant be better or more balanced. I am saying if you want people to agree with you, play with a level board, dont change the requirements when you start to lose your side of the discussion. Other classes do not have the option of pets, so you have to accept that part of your class as being in the discussion.

Still DKs are rolling 1k DPS without banner spam. Even nightblades can do it. And sorcs can do it aswell. If all of em are using the right skill setup + dress´n staff.

Would still be nice to see a sorc do it on video. For me just out of curiosity. I play DK myself. On a good day i can do 1K. But only on a damn good one

To me it is sad that the game appears to only work while wearing a dress. If I wanted to play a caster type, I would have started with a sorc in the first place.

Most, not all, but most night blades just want the broken skills fixed. Make them work as advertised then look at the buffet or nerf bat.

Might want to take GW2 off the list. In WvWvW their version of AvA, doesn't it use the normal PvE rules?

That is not true in this game actually. At end game its aoe dps/taunt,Aoe dps/heals,and Aoedps/st dps. Thats all there is too it all light armor and all staves. Its a *** design . I whish Zos would have put more thought into this . Its pretty damn boring and shallow

You do realize what Sorc can only have DPS over 1k with only 1 class skill used - Winged Twilight, all another - common weapon skills?
You do realize, what NB have this DPS with class skills only and he don't need this stupid and pointless pets?

All around using staff'n'light just because it's only viable in dungeons. It's far better for me to kill 1 target with my NB, then with my Sorc.
But when you have seen this situation? There is at least 2-3 mobs in packs everywhere, in dungeons just tons of mobs in packs. And Destruction staff line was designed to have a deal with this numbers.
If they will nerf it - ENTIRE game will suffer!
There is nothing wrong with classes or skills - there is something wrong with monsters design!
If they'll remove this trash-fest from everywhere - the AOE specs will be not viable and noone will use it, trust me!

There was not only pets, but bugged ultimate gain too - it's already fixed!

Yes, another classes can't summon pets, but with pets their DPS will be even MORE? Just answer me.

AFAIS, he/she is using mage light, using highest dps spells for a sorc, using atronauch when possible, using animation cancellation exploit.

If you have something better to show, show us your video.

siphon spirit add magicka regen for 20 sec at 1% /sec, amounts to about 20/sec with 2k Magicka.

He is using weapon skills as main DPS - this is possible to any another class, not for Sorcs only...

First off, Sorcs are the only class that has pets, infact one of their three skill lines is entirely dedicated to pets. So complaining about how you cannot do your classes best DPS while ignoring a third of your skills is just outright stupid. I didn't chose to roll the only pet class in the game, you did. Please stop complaining about "stupid" and obviously not pointless, if they allow you to top damage charts, pets.

From the get go, all I have been asking is to let the results be fair. If the class can make that 1500 DPS using the skills available to them, then your challenge to the community was met. Stop being upset with the results.

And saying that NB have this DPS with class skills only? Really...no staff skills involved? I am sorry, while I agree that NB can get 1k dps, they can only get it in a cookie cutter cloth and stick build. If they try and use anything else. They are sub-par at best.

Personally I don't think ZOS should be buffing or nerfing anything. At least not until all the abilities are working as intended. There are a handful of abilities for night blades that even ZOS as admitted are not working correctly. At least for Sorcs ZOS says they are saying working as intended. Even if those intentions are bad.

Nightblade have top DPS to singletraget (while it have more than 20% HP) nowadays (in light'n'staff spec sure).

well regarding to CLS in the down right corner he´s at 56x.xxDPS when the atronarch dies...
as the initial dps was at490 due to the recent aoe fight i would (guess)estimate his DPS around 650-750 wich is nonetheless great from my templar perspective
