Elden Hollow Quest completion bug when coming from other zones.

My solo character completed Elden Hollow last night for the first time (It is my zone dungeon for that level.)

(By solo, I mean I have one character I play 'alone' and another that I navigate with a friend. It does not mean I never group, assist, or request assistance.)

As this dungeon is in my home zone, I was able to walk in the front door and speak to the quest giver and get the Event Invite. After the last boss, after the rumble and the forced exit (don't want to get too specific ~ not trying to offer a spoiler here), I was able to complete the quest and receive the quest reward and XP's.

I've done this dungeon before from the other zones (DF, specifically).
It does not start you at the beginning, but rather at the internal wayshrine point.

As such, you do not even see the quest giver until the end animation (rumble, rumble) and again when headed to exit before climbing to freedom.

The short version is, the end animation and subsequent event is not the same, the quest giver does not offer up the quest initially, and the quest does not get completed.

As such, Elden Hollows stayed black on the world map, even though the achievement has been granted.

Again, this is only when you port in from another zone, not from the home zone of Grahtwood.

We've never had quest/event issues with any other dungeon thus far in zone, or out of zone.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone else been able to complete EH quest/event invite when coming from another zone (DF, specifically)?

Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

Earn it.
