New Player! Hello everyone!

Just wondering how servers work.

I created a character but was never prompted to choose a server. Does this mean that there is not a distinction between pvp and pve servers etc...

There is only distinction between North American and European servers.

yes, pvp and pve are on the same server.

you are far away from all the veteren level talks, enjoy your class, and by the time you reach VR, problem will, hopefully, all fixed.

NB is NOT trash, there are several members of my guild quite happy with their NBs, they are on ZoS list of love and priority right now. So my guess is that you have hit spot on ;D

Thanks, I figured a bowsassin would be best for NB but I read bow templars are pretty strong but yeah, I feel that NB fits my playstyle best. Any guilds looking to recruit?

I won't be on until I'm home from work in like 8 hours, though.

I played the beta and just bought a gaming PC. The bad reviews scared me off but I was bored with the Stomping Land and The Forest so I finally sacced up and bought the game.

NB are not trash. They are not op, but are quite viable for every aspect of content in ESO. Dont let the trolls/whiners in these halls bite you!

NB are fine they just need fixes, which have been already stated are on the way, I play NB hybrid stamina/magicka Bow build and im VR4, I love my class and refuse to reroll like so many others, I can solo pretty much 90% of current map at level, by the time you get to VR it should be fine, enjoy rolling your Nightblade, its fun both in PvE and PvP, might not win every time but then hey /welcome to ESO.

I don't hate laptops, especially since the more recent ones can actually pull their own weight.

Well I'm running on max settings no hiccups so I think I'm doing okay.

No matter how bad this launch was, it couldn't have been worse than Age of Conan, which I played for 2-3 years on and off. Still has the best MMO combat I've played, to date.

Not bad, it's an above mid-range gaming laptop.

I have ROG, 860M as well, it runs ESO on ultra pretty good. Bench says 860M is on par with 770M. Good deal!

Hi and welcome. NB is currently one of the most challenging classes and bow is in need of some love too. If you're really set on that go for it but be aware that the archetypes given on startup screen don't necessarily match up to the reality. Eg. Dragon knights in cloth armor specialising in fire magic are very successful and sorcerers in plate armor work well too.

Which matches right up with how elder scrolls games should be! Diggin' it already.

I strongly suggest you avoid the forums for a week or two until you get a good feel for the game. You read too much of these forums and it can slant your view of the game. Go play, have fun then come back here and wade through the muck

If I can offer you one piece of advice, let it be this. Leave these forums and never return. Stick to playing the game, which you will find is a very different one to the game all the whiners and trolls are posting about here.

right, same thing with ESO, make sure goto settings and select eso.exe to use 860M.

Its quite dumb, I actually played an hour with Intel GMA4000 and wondered why 860M was so crappy, until I figured that out, lol.
