Wabbajack lag is back - and it makes campaign completely unplayable.

    I was playing PvP, and just spawned from a forward camp(after getting jumped by a squad of pesky V12s. lol) 2 huge armies, one from EP(my side) and one from AD(enemies) attacked converged and started fighting, in 10 seconds, everyone froze in place and I could not do anything. I could not even re log, I had to quit then come back to the game(I don't mind taking 10 extra seconds, but still). I had no idea how bad that lag was until 10 mins ago, and I will not play Wabbajack again until it is fixed. funny how the one balanced campaign I find does not work:(

    They upped the population caps without notice, so yes lag is back with vengeance.

    Nothing like being frozen for minutes at a time.

    Of yeah and the "unexpected error" thing as well.

    I'd love to know how peoe know this when it's been neither confirmed or denied. I haven't seen a lack of targets when it was capped versus last night.

    Maybe it was but until something official comes out this just seems pointless to spout as fact with nothing firm to back it. Simy saying lag was better and populations were capped is t evidence of it, just speculation.

    Its not only Wabbajack. On EU Auriels Bow it's pretty much unplayable... What did you do in 1.1.4 ? I mean wasn't it supposed to increase performance in Cyrodil? It worked exactly other way around...

    It might be because wabbajack is the high pop server. It's locked far more than any other.

    ZoS just needs to accept the fact that their "lagfree massive PVP" dream is a failure at this time.
    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    It's not a particular campaign it's all about population. I experienced lag in other campaigns when they were full.

    Everytime a heavy battle ensues somewhere in cyrodil I get heavy delay lag, especially when one or more of the alliance populations are locked.

    Also just a question of curiosity, but is it possible to get around the population lock, or possibly even fool the population numbers, by using "travel to player" to enter different campaigns. I heard about people doing this to get around guesting restrictions and get points for their home campaign to boot, but what if it has a lag effect as well? Probably something worth looking at.

    I was playing in Wabbajack on and off most of the day yesterday. From right after patch until I logged out around 4:00pm central time I had no issues with latency. When I logged back in around 8:30pm central time I was experiencing extreme lag everywhere in Cyrodiil. I rode my horse way out into the middle of nowhere to set up a forward camp and aggroed a wolf or something and had to fight it. I was getting a full 2-3 seconds between button press and skill activation on screen while fighting with nobody else around. It was a similar delay when back where the real fighting was.

    I found it pointless to continue in Wabbajack so I went to my guest campaign, which is Bloodthorn at the moment and had no issues with latency (but there were only 5 of us at the only fight I could find going on anywhere).

    I get zero lag in PvE, ever. In Wabbajack, it continues to be unplayable at frequent intervals. I am usually on Mumble with my guild, all of whom live in different places, and all of whom experience lag at the same time I do in Wabba.

    Like the above poster, my guest campaign is Bloodthorn. I can't ever recall significant lag there.

    I'd like to add that campaigns lag not only when they are full. Last night, at some point, Wabba had about 2 bars for each faction and there was massive lag even in non-crowded areas. The lag spikes seem to happen randomly, in spaced intervals, and when the lag starts, it goes on for several minutes. You're only able to walk, and can see people walking around you, but cannot activate your abilities, mount or dismount, use doors and sneak.
    It's not like the usual lag, which is a simple delay in weapon swapping or when getting through doors.

    There is also a strange side effect of lag: If you happen to be placing a siege machine or a cauldron when the lag hits, it will become unusable afterwards.

    when you add someone to group in pvp, the lag spikes. also, i notice that the sorc bolt esc causes stuttering (seeing others use it)

    1.1.2 was bad.. then 1.1.3 pretty much fix most of the lag. Even with all 3 pop locked on Wabajack... it still really good during 1.1.3. I have not log on Cyrodiil for 1.1.4. Will try it tonight. Hopefully, it will be resolved.

    I had intermittent lag spikes and 2 really weird freezes. In the middle of a large battle all other players both sides would freeze in place but I could still walk around with decent FPS but couldn't use abilities, emotes or otherwise interact with anything. The first time it was actually kind of neat checking out all the flashy VR armor styles noticing how my lvl11 looks like a hobo in her jute rags.

    Played in wabbalag again last night...the number of times i casted bolt escape and didnt move was off the charts. Sometimes I would just start warping around like 5 seconds later. Bolt Escape and weapon swap have HORRIBLE lagged response.

    I pity the hamster they have powering the wabbajack server. You may want to get the little guy some hamster steroids, or upgrade the 8088's to 286's at least.

    I think 1.1.3 had lower pop caps hence the higher playability.

    Horrible last night. Died, could not even respawn at a location. Clicking on it and nothing would happen. Everyone around was totally frozen and for a long, long time. Only quitting the game for a few minutes would solve the issue.......
