If you turn on notifications for threads you have participated in, there is no way to opt out of specific threads.

You can disable notifications for participated threads, and instead enable them for bookmarked threads. This allows you to effectively subscribe/unsubscribe at will by checking/unchecking the star icon at the top of a thread.

But may i can ask why is this even a feature? What system or argorythm decides what i see or not? Because sometimes there are topics which i read and not answered ever. yet still see.
