Is it meant to prompt me to reset password after name change? It's no hassle, just thought i would ask as i didn't see it mentioned. I received a reset email earlier and then it forced me to reset when i attempted to login with new name.

Typically, yes. However this is up to you to complete. It's more of a prompt that your change has been completed.
