The workaround is to logout and login, but really, an AAA game like this should not have this basic function problem and force the paying customer to find a workaround. It's these type of problems that make people stop paying for a game that looks nothing more than a paid beta.

may be AAA, but it's still a new company. doesn't really bother me, so much that they do different, it's expected to be some hiccups in the beginning. Hirelings used to not deliver while you are logged in. I noticed that this got fixed

You may have more patience than most of the people, or lower standards, or you just like to punish yourself. Good for you! The harsh reality is this game bleeds subscriptions therefore money and when the money is gone so the support which it wasn't great in the first place. You will end-up with a niche game for the real die-hard fans but nothing more.

People rage over the littlest ***. If it doesn't come immediately enough for you, log out and back in and it will be there "immediately". I also find that sometimes just opening up the mail interface triggers a check for new mail as well.

In-game messaging is a quintessential part of any MMO. It serves both communication and economy. It is not a little [snip] by any standards.
But let's assume you are right though. It is proven that the little things bothering you repeatedly are the most displeasing. Think of the annoying habits of your neighbour or room mate or partner and you get the idea. Think of all the marriages broken because of the little things. It's just human nature.
Now if the annoying little things are not counterbalanced by something good and rewarding on the other side you are pretty much left with the bad taste you already have.

So humans are stupid, and expect too much. yup sounds about right. yes the social aspects of MMO"S are just important as the Combat, however this mail isnt even broken, it just runs slow. It is supposed to be pretty much instant, but still, some games purposely make you wait like an hour for delivery. That's why this is a very minor issue. Unless these items are not delivering at all, then it would be a bigger issue, but, a minor annoyance, yes, needs to be adjusted, but this is hardly game breaking. If mail is your annoyance breaking point, then I would hate to see you organize your inventory.

Mail runs slowso does normal mail, game still moves fast than that, guild store is a disgrace, enchanting is brokenso i hear, about the potency runes, economy is brokeneconomy's fluctuate ask my government, hirelings timers are screwedi've been testing this for a while, mine work fine, 12 hour after i log(after taking out items), are delivering while i'm logged in, provisioning for veteran zones is brokenyup they are just dropping the same cap as their normal counterparts, no real difference in stats between different gear qualitiesTHis is intentional as level 50 is the max, VR is just endgame not more leveling, think of it as attuning for gear, EU servers in UScuz MERICA *** yeah, unbalanced classes, broken classes (NB), vet mobs difficulty screwed, no good/usable loot in V1-10 (I can hardly find blue gear, purple gear I found I can count on my fingers and I never found a legendary)as a nightblade crafte, who only deconstructs and makes his own armor, doing just fine, could use some more people, but they are all in craglorn, phasing problems when grouped, botswhere did you see the bots today, cuz they must alwasy be on the move. I've notcie a significant down fall in this population in the past 2 months everywhere converging to the already broken economy, easy to find exploits leading to all kinds of abnormalities from power leveling to gold selling and fake leaderboards. And then there are design flaws like the ability to join 5 guilds making you not feel you belong to anyonesolution make one yourself, or join a friends, use other four slots for their stores. Just a bunch of strangers grouped together because there is no damn other way to sell your stuff or to buy what you need. I think there are enough "little things" to put any human beings patience to the test.
