As IT support veteran I can say, with out any sarcasm, that 90% + of computer users have absolutely no idea how to properly maintain your computer.
Starting from what kind of applications to use and or download to properly balancing computer hardware ( i7/GTX770/300W Cheaptek PSU ), the list goes on.
In this case problem is more then likely in drivers.
Normally I would suggest uninstalling drivers in Safe mode ( download divers locally prior ).

LOL!!! Drivers. it's always the drivers. Maybe he should unplug the router after he updates them too. Dirt in the fans? Darn drivers.

99/100 times problem is between keyboard and chair.
If I had a dollar every time someone said they have a kickass computer in tip top shape and there is NO reason it is dying. Then you see a glorified calculator littered with search bars, pron and desktop full of files.

I have tried all the fixes that people in this and many other posts (as well as the admins/CS ticket people) and none of them have worked.
the only thing that has helped me stay online for more than 5 mins is turning off the Subsampleing quality in the in game graphics settings.
it makes your game look like its 15 years old but it lets me stay online.
hope this information is helpful to someone

Should that fail reinstalling windows is allways an option. Especially if you have not done it in a year or more. Cleaning your registry might help to an extent.
Of course the issue might be in hardware as well. For instance GPU or CPU overheating. Or PSU is unable to power the rig.
There is a variety of issues that might have arrised due to normal wear and tear of the computer.
My advice: try to find someone who is experienced with computers and ask for help / pay for help.
Option b) cry on forums stamping your foot and crying F* ZOS.

Don't worry about Charley. He's bound and determined to ignore any suggestion that might actually help resolve the situation.
