Lag spikes again

Prior to 1.2 I had days that the lag spikes were so bad that if they happened near an NPC that after the system "caught up" my character was already dead. After 1.2, it still happened, but so little I paid no mind.
After today's maintenance, I have no idea what changed, but this game is unplayable for me as these spikes have returned. I can't go 60 seconds without one hitting. I have never had lag spikes this bad with any other game before, or currently. I have always had a solid connection, and if it was my system it would do it all the time. Logic dictates it is on your end.
I do hope you can get your game working properly, sooner than later, as people's patience is starting to wear thin. I'm going to go play something else while you work on this.

Calorath✭✭I get this so hardcore that I can sometimes die and be miles from where I was. I am starting to hate playing. On the other hand, "The Forest", alpha 0.01 is great, despite the fifty or so bugs I have reported to the devs. Sure, I can only play an hour before it dies, but I can PLAY! I have a hard time playing ESO now, with all the invisible mobs, loading screens everywhere, and other such BS. -
Esha76✭✭✭✭✭So I started this thread at 10am... After filing several bug reports, and trying to play multiple times throughout the day, same result. No word from customer service either. Unplayable lag each attempt. I played the other MMO I'm into right now the rest of the day with no issues at all. I have not changed a single thing on my computer, it's exactly what it was 10am this morning.
Unable to keep myself away, I tried logging in ESO again about an hour ago. It has run flawlessly for the last hour. Not a single second of lag since I logged on an hour ago.

Calorath✭✭I believe some of the "lag" we are seeing is due to the server being maxed out as far as CPU is concerned. This is what it feels like to me, anyway. Think about it. The server is overloaded so instead of updating your character with server-side info every few seconds, it may be only every twenty or thirty seconds. I have a great ping, but things don't spawn. This is why I believe the CPU(s) on the server are maxed out. If I had high network latency, it would be another story.

kingmat75Soul Shriveni noticed lag spikes mostly when there is 1 or more large groups in the area of fight.. playing all together casting ability (heal, buff, shield) for all the time.
i dont know if this playstyle cause insane lag.. but is probably, because casting aoe heals/shield for HOURS.. create an insane spam of data on my chat log.. and i figure this on server too.
the lag spikes is very low when there are large fight without organized large groups.
this is what i see about recently lag spikes.
another thing to consider is the fact that some "speed hack" work in eso, and most players thinks that who use this "***" create the lag spikes.
i trust him and think the same, and hope Zos take a look on this. -
Esha76✭✭✭✭✭About an hour after my last post, the spike started again. Shortly after that I did hear from a ZOS rep. They suggested some stuff I could do on my end to help performance and lag. I do seriously hope it is on my end and something I can fix.

impossible to play pvp for 2 days now. whenever i log in and ttry to get into battle everything freezes for few seconds and then i get booted out with unknown error
Same for me, i sended 2 email to the support but they are incompetent, i cannot play in pvp at all since last patch. I got 1 day of game time remaining but i don't think they fix this tomorrow, so these incompetent will not see a penny anymore from me.
