This would be my first time I ever use a PTS for any game. So I would like to know how does it work exactly. Do you copy your character from the live and able to use that one or do you start from scratch? Also novice question here but is 27000mb = to 27gigs? If so is it possible to PAUSE the download and do it in chunks so it does not kill my band with or does it have to be done all in one go? I would really like if these questions got answered. Also thank you in advance for answering these and look forward to playing on the PTS.

    PTS is a separate server. You can create a character from scratch or from the V9 template. Your characters on live will not transfer over.

    You should be able to pause the download. I accidentally closed my launcher last night after it had been downloading all evening. I reopened it and it finished the download left about an hour later.

    @Ashigaru‌ it is in the top left of the character creation screen. I overlooked it myself the first time.
