Public test server is great... but the patch still crashes my system.

Ever since the Craglorn patch was released on the closed PTS server, I have not been able to install it. At 16% it makes my system crash dump - guaranteed every time.
Now that the PTS server has been made publicly available, it's the same thing.
Is anyone else getting this, too?
Any tech wizards who might know what I can try differently?
