Really? This is the community this game deserves or this is all what is left after all reasonable people have already left? Why is it if you have a different opinion than theirs you suddenly become undesirable and a "whiner"?
PS I won't say if I unsubbed or not because I am sure one "helpful" moderator will close this saying it is a goodbye thread. It is not. I am just saying that I am disappointed with the community. Or this is forbidden as well?
Stay far, far away from Eve Online. You don't have thick enough skin.
This, the basic (moronic) rule of thumb is if you don't like something or are criticizing something you are a whiner and need to stop crying - and if you disagree with a negative opinion or simply just enjoy something you are a fanboy and need to stop white knighting.
This thread is proof, it didn't take long to break out the idiocy.
I, sadly, decided to speak with my wallet. I will probably resub in a few months when they get their act together, but living in fear of what the next patch will break isn't worth a monthly payment.
...sucks that I have no other worth while options to play at the moment.

Guess many low lvl players are new and did not see all the bugs/balance issues the games got to offer.

This is not my first MMO but it is by far the most controversial one.

Yeah, no one likes a community that loves the content and is tired of listening to complaints.
Agreed.I disagree, this is the best community/ most social game I have played since DAoC personally. The community is only what you make you of it, and if you whine in general chat, what do you expect to happen?

This game has a bad community
@Purple_Prophet we had one during the beta phase of the forum. It was removed, then brought back, then removed a last time. It was easy to abuse and didn't provide for constructive discussion. We also had a like at one, redundant with agree and awesome, and also an off topic button. That last one got removed because people started to abuse it as a dislike. If you notice, sarcastic lols tend to be the current "down vote" people sometimes use.Purple_Prophet wrote: »How come we have all of these options at the bottom such as "Insightful, Agree, Awesome, and LOL" but no disagree button? Nothing to do with the topic but I'm just wondering xD

There is nothing I hate more than people using Zone chat as their personal diary to air their grievances...as soon as someone gets on their pedestal (as if anyone cares what they think) I reach for the 'ignore' button and go back to enjoying the game.
In regards to the community in general, in game, this is the best online community I've been a part of. The community on the forums is among the worst...

Btw, not everyone who disagrees is a fanboy. It's gotten to the point where you're simply not allowed to enjoy games anymore. If someone doesnt like something, you HAVE to like it or else you are branded "fanboy". Such a dumb concept.
I personally have serious issues with this game. But, that doesn't mean I want to listen to contsant whining about the same things over and over again. I have to put up with that crap all day at work. Games are my escape from it. Sometimes, you just want people to take their black cloud of misery elsewhere.

So just because I observe it has passed 2 months and some basic functionality of the game such as search function in guild store has not been restored, means I am building a pedestal for me and seeking attention?
You just prove my point.

If you weren't seeking attention, you'd be using the /feedback feature.
