Unable to Research

Hello all,

since the latest update i am unable to start any trait research.
The traits show as researchable, i can click them and select the item i wish to research.
But when i press E or click Research Trait nothing happens. (it just closes the window where i select the item, and then i'm back in the crafting screen where it still shows as researchable)
It's the same on both Blacksmithing and Woodworking, i don't do any other crafting. I have tried relogging and various crafting stations.
Anyone else have this problem? And does anyone know of a fix?

u can only research 1 type at a time, ie, bow (precise) no other bow can be researched until that is done.

(perhaps the UI should show me i can't research another trait on the same item)
