Nightblade's continued nerfs --- no real fixes yet

I think NB is a great class. However what's with the hate from ZOS? Or whomever is calling the shots on these changes rather? The ultimate change... hello we are a crit class, give us self regen without having to do damage or run back and forth in path like the other classes. Or some way to glide across the map like a sorc.

Also, I received an email reply from ZOS as per my questioning their change with the feeding. I was told "it's unfair that other classes can't do it"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine that. ZOS, instead of being stubborn, realize that us, those who support you and love your game, are enjoying it less over these nerfs. Guess what? STEALTH is a nightblade thing, everyone knew that from the start. Should dark elves have their fire resistance rendered obsolete when they choose Vampire? From this exact reasoning, they should...because you know it's unfair the other races don't get that and in your words "provides an unfair advantage". What advantage is there in a boss fight to do such a thing? It's part of the class..... you spend your time with this yet I don't have my achievements back of which I should have my Tamriel Hero title by now (I was halfway through my third alliance zone when they disappeared and now it's not giving me full credit). Some input from a Dev and not generic as to why, it's clear why... but what's not clear is how that was considered the best way to put our monies to use since it's not a fix, it's just more fuel to the fire.

We need 3 things. (other than our skills/ passives actually working)

1. Make in-combat invis our Shadow Tree top-tier skill (all benefits from 'hiding')
2. Make invis potions the same as our current *** skill
3. Some more synergy for the class. I can count like 3 things that benefit build

So, something unique ... something that clearly is better than a potion or some skill everyone gets

We need more than that. I can play the game just fine yes. However, it is starting to become a bit inexcusable as to why they tone down Nightblade more before even fixing it. I mean c'mon, if there were no updates to Nightblades.. fine... but to actually make it less true to itself..... let me rephrase that, to take the time and go out of your way developing an update that doesn't address any major class problems nor Nightblade problems specifically, but buffs some things that don't need it and then takes away just another aspect that Nightblade is all about... STEALTH. So if you are a vamp, and a nightblade... you have the benefit of using it mid fight to feed on humanoid bosses. The only true benefit of that is to either 1) Remove a stage of vampirism 2) regen health which is what it's INTENDED TO DO or 3) use it to stun the boss while your team regens a bit. There is nothing major, no exploit, no severe damage, nothing. So to go out of your way and take something that's mildly enjoying away, yet still one of the few very useful things a NB can do, fixing nothing important.... is adding insult to injury.

If they are going to do this to NBs, they need to:


Remove all other advantages one class or race has as a Vampire/WW/Neither over another. No I don't want to see that, because then no one would be playing. However, this is in line with that. Their reasoning, copy/paste from e-mail:

Also, I never indicated it affected me "strongly", however my opinion on the continued ransack of NBs is definitely strong. I still love the class, I can do anything in the game as it is, however they are completely removing all of the flavor from the class one update at a time and ignoring the more pressing issues of passives and such not working properly.

The stealth issue I mentioned to them was when one of the lvl 1 random rodents, bugs, etc.. walk across my cross-hair I can't use stealth... so to cast abilities I look at the sky mostly. Fun. LOL This is a great game by a great team from a great company, please stop ruining it with fixes that are worse than what they are fixing.
