Where are the characters stored?

It seems I have to format my computer because of technical difficulties. I just want to know, if I format, will all my characters and progress be lost? If so please tell me how I can save the vital info, so I can format and re install without losing all that I've worked for.

It's stored megaserver side. You can log in at any computer and your characters will all be available.

Characters are stored server side to prevent tampering of the character file.

That's cute. Welcome to online games. The good fun is not have to worry about save games. You may want to backup the screenshots folder if you use it, these depends on your PC.
