I know it's been mentioned before and i know there are plenty of other things that need fixing, but at some point it would be nice to be able to turn off the visual effect of Mage Light/Inner Light.

For the sea-sick prone wussies like me, that orbiting orb of light can be very nauseating. I try to keep it off most of the time, but in long fights, or delve/dungeon crawls where I am needing it on, by the time I am done with the crawl I usually have to take a little break to avoid barfing all over my keyboard.

Anyway, just hoping.

I agree with this, and empathize. I always play in first person, which eliminates the nausea orb (it stays parked above your character's head I think); so you might try this, if you haven't already. I also disable Magelight in town, particularly at the crafting benches, so I don't drive other folks crazy too. The glowing eyes and hands really should be adequate, in my opinion, but because some folks surely like the orb, the choice to disable the visual aspect should be made available.

I find it especially useful when leading groups in Cyrodiil. If you can toggle the visual effect off, it wouldn't exactly be fair to the nightblade gankers, poor little guys. Perhaps a good idea would be to have it be stationary over your character, then.

As much as I like it, if it is causing others to feel ill then it should be either an option to turn it off or as said above, stationary.

I have no problems with it i just dislike it... the hand/eye animation should be enough...

I could do without the constant hissing sound too.... the game has nice sounds no need to make me listen to a bad one all the time...

So...is the person using it the only one to see the orb. I see the orb, but I see a lot running around with only their eyes and hands illuminated, no orb. I thought maybe it was the next upgrade or something to get rid of the orb?

Now that you mention it, I think you're right, the orb is not visible to other players, just the caster. From what I've witnessed, anyway.

No, others can see it. I see it on other Sorcs all the time. It doesn't bother me though I do sympathize. I have to turn off screen shaking effects in all games so that I don't get nauseous.

And yeah, agreed on the sound of it. That gets annoying though I'm starting to get used to it. Kind of like white noise machine, lol.

Noticed this tonight actually, it does get on my nerves a bit and I disable it town etc so it doesn't bother others.

Best bet would be to have it static and floating just above you noggin I reckon.

Really like the blue effect round the eyes though.

Yeah I see the orb on others.

I don't know what the glowing hands/eyes thing is. I don't ever use Magelight or it's morphs.

I got killed because of it. The thing was so big and bright that I could not see a mob sneaking up to whack me. I usually only play first person view so this makes this an absolutely unusable skill for me.
