What Happened to PvP?

Sorry I am asking the players and not ZoS employees since they really have ZERO knowledge of the game....what happened. I tried to give the game time and have been in contact with a Zenimax representative that said they improved PvP, but all the maps are pretty much empty.

AryaWythers✭✭✭Never seen PvP this empty ever...even before launch, in the face of an up-date. And that was in every MMO I have ever played they usually fight until the last minute. I should have taken the refund when I was offered it by Zenimax.Edited by AryaWythers on May 30, 2014 6:09AM0

✭PvP is nearly unplayable since patch. Players trapped in Wabba last night and they had to shut it down.
I got on tonight and first dragon leap shot me 4000 meters in the air. Never came down. Went straight to loading screen for 15 sec and then poof, I was standing right where I should have landed with only my teamates close by. So I got out of there and went back to PvE.
It's sad because this is big part of ESO. Hope Craglorn was worth it.0 -

Zerl✭✭✭The main problem is that PvE > PvP for leveling, and they have recently just increased the level cap. So that majority of the high rollers are now back to grinding to hit VR12.
I also think that there are far too many servers, and the community is spread too thin.0 -

Lol...I was banned for a few days for a few days for insulting a few of the lesser intelligent ZoS employees, Are you one of them?
Even before that I was slowing down from PvP and took a brake after I was re-instated. So who is this everyone you are talking about?
I have been in contact with Zenimax employees and they told me changes were made to PvP . So I come back and find all the Campaigns ghost towns, but again how did that insult everyone?

I have been criticizing my government and the NSA and fighting with so many Trolls on so many websites that is more like PvP than this MMO, sorry that you don't like my opinion but I do still have a few months left on my sub-script.

I was planning to take a month brake and see where the game was after that, but a Zeni employee told me they made changes to PvP so I came back...and not only did I have 10 Gold-seller mail in my inbox but all the PvP servers were dead. And the Gold sellers got into forums yet again...something I have never seen in any other MMO, so I have my doubts about the people running the forums, since they need an official invite to forums.

Seroczynski✭✭✭Perhaps they should merge some campaigns. Yesterday, all day long, I've not seen one campaign being full. It was different at the start, but looks like people are getting demotivated whenever a solid group of PVP's come online and grab most keeps.

I do agree that PvP has been mostly empty for a while now, though. At least in most campaigns. I think that says more about how bad the PvP is at keeping players engaged than it does about the problems caused by bugs, though. In real life I communicate with a series of huff, puffs, and grunts...the fact of the matter is that the PvP in this game is a FRACTION of what it was even before early release. And doesn't even compare to any MMO that came out in the last few years. I didn't ruin PvP and sorry that I asked what happened to it in the week that I took a break.
I talked trash to them in direct emails over certain (shady policies) where they allowed people to target paying consumers personally, but have at you...and prove my point. PvP has died no matter what people that haven't been playing since early access say.
I love how people equate proper spelling to justify their terrible arguments and lack of any real substance...I still WIN!!! I thought I put Terrible Speller and atrocious at grammar in my profile...but I guess properly spelled words and insults win a rational argument!

My point is that I honestly don't see the point in you asking this question. If PvP is dead, it is because it is not fun. This has nothing to do with ZOS policies or the ZOS reps that hold community-related positions. The PvP in this game cannot be fixed without large, sweeping changes, which certainly won't happen until ZOS sees that their current PvP system is hopeless, if at all.

Nope sorry was just asking what happened to PvP...any MMO that wants to survive needs PvP, as I have been trying to fight for since Week one.
So why are you here making a FUSS on this thread since you say PvP died because it was so BAD....I never said that. I was just asking what happened to it. I had a Zenimax employee tell me they made some major fixes to the system....that's why I tried it out again.
If you feel the PvP so AWFUL and deserved to die why are you even here, sticking up for ZoS employees that haven't given me an answer since day one and gave me hope for an MMO that should have fair PvP...since they did take a lot of my money!

Mendoze✭✭✭I think those campaign population markers are somewhat messed up. Last night I was playing in EU AB and there was lots of players ( at least yellows and reds ), but campaign still only showed 2 bars for every faction. Also new patch seemed to bring more lag and other issues to Cyrodiil, so I think some people are just avoiding it and grind PVE instead.0 -
