Guild Bank performance

So it's been 2 months now and we still have no word on guild bank improvements. As a guild leader this is really annoying. Not only do items not stack but 90% of the time when accessing the guild bank all you get is "Retrieving Items..." endlessly. The only way around it is to exit the bank menu and try again..and again..and again. I sometimes have to repeat this 5-10 times just to get items to actually load. God forbid you have to switch to another guild bank in the drop down list because that is an even bigger exercise in futility.

This is not really acceptable performance IMO. As bad as the guild bank/guild features are in this game it would at least be bearable if what limited things where here actually worked.

So I guess I'm asking @ZOS_JessicaFolsom or @ZOS_JordanH or whoever might have an answer...can we expect any sort of fix/improvement for this anytime soon or is this the price we have to pay with the "mega-server" infrastructure?

No word? No ETA? Nothing? Well, I think I have an idea on how to get this resolved..

Can we lock the devs in a room with a continuous loop of the naggy NPC voice that will ask them if they know the old saying.."neither a borrower, nor a lender be..". You know..that same thing that you have to listen to over and over and over to try and access the bank (unless you get an addon to shut them up).

I guarantee it would only take about 30 minutes of listening to that and the bank would be fixed. I swear on my mother's egg tooth.

Fortunately, the "neither a borrower nor a lender be" line has been removed from that NPC, so at least you shouldn't be listening to that.

In fact that VO has been gone for a few days now, so check that your game is properly updated if you are still hearing it.

I do get the "retrieving items" and waiting forever sometimes when using the banks of the guilds in which I am a member - really annoying. Sometimes relog fixes it, other times not. I hope it is sorted soon, for all our sakes!

Yeah..I have an addon to shut up the bankers but that was not the point. Being able to actually access the bank reliably and having items actually stack is the point.

Perpetually "Retrieving Items" or "Waiting on Previous Request"... cmon Max you can't make a simple guild bank and store function properly and yet you release the game as a finished product?

And don't even bother trying to search for something in all that mess. This is supposed to be a finished product?

I still hate that obnoxious woman that walks around in Vulkhal Guard bank blocking your way. I wish they would just disable all bank npc's so they don't say anything........so annoying.
