Cancelled or not?

I cancelled my subscription last week.
At that time, my account status was listed as 'Cancelled'.

Now, a few days later, it has been changed to 'Active - non Recurring'.

So, have I cancelled or not?

I tried to use the 'Contact Information' of the game site to send
some comments to Customer Service, but I was unable to get
the script there to accept my message and submit it to ESO.

In addition, there doesn't seem to be any place for me to remove
my Credit Card information from the system.

Having read all the horror stories in these forums, I am concerned that Zenimax will just go ahead and continue to charge me month after month, forcing me to jump through hoops to free myself and get re-imbursed.

What is the situation here?
Why does everything associated with this game have to be so tedious?
Do i have anything to be concerned with?

I've played a lot of MMOs throughout the years and usually that means your account is CURRENTLY Active but there won't be a recurring charge. Because you canceled it.

You might want to double check though. I'm starting not to trust ZOS.

It is active because you had time left on the account. Non recurring means it will not be charged again. Or that you do not have the sub set to charge again.

Edit: as the above poster wrote, double check as ZOS' cc service had taxed the hell out of people last month apparently by mistake, locking their credit cards and accounts. That's so funny. their game breaking bugs breeched life breaking :open_mouth:

    Double check ... how?

I wasn't able to make the contact screen work properly.
At least, it never acknowledged that anything was done when I pressed 'Submit'.

Am i going to be forced to spend time on the phone to get a definitive answer?

Just log back in your account management site and check that your cc number is removed.

@Codicil‌ Opening a ticket (via email or phone) to ask the question or see if there is anything about it on the support page. Just don't be surprised if you find no information on there about it though.

Not sure how they choose which forums to answer so those two might be your best option.

Fuzzy - as I wrote in my original post ... there is no place to remove my Credit Card info on the ESO site. Manage subscription just lets you specify how often you want to be charged. There is nothing there about any saved information.

oh my gosh. dude, relax non recurring means you will not be charged, if it has active its simply because you had time left after you cancelled. if that doesn't calm you enough lol call billing and double check with them.

There is currently only two classes in this game, DK and Sorcs.
Templar's and NB are just 'extras' that have not been removed yet.
