Velocious Curse (Sorc, Daedric Summon Line) Cast Time Bug?

When I start to cast this spell, it immediately seems to aggro the mob ... then a few seconds later, the spell hits the mob. Shouldn't the mob aggro occur when it is hit, not at the start of the cast/animation?

It's an instant cast spell. Probably a graphic glitch with the animation. So instant cast would hit the mob instantly = instant aggro.

Instant cast, delayed blast spell, working as intended.

It's a delayed cast spell. I have the morph to elemental wall and encase that makes it explode at spells end. I stack it with Velocious curse, and all 3 go off like a bomb.

I see ... so the cast animation is causing the issue. I cast it, it immediately hits the mob (hence aggro) and begins its countdown, meanwhile, my toon is still doing the cast animation and the visual effect of the Curse shows up after the animation...and I can't cast anything else till the animation completes? (I understand the damage is delayed so not talking about the actual damage being dealt).
