Intermittent unresponsive UI problem

Ever since the major patch, this problem -- where the UI becomes unresponsive -- is seriously testing my patience.
I've tried to pay attention to what may cause it but it really does just seem completely random.
Every so often, most of the game controls become unresponsive. This includes the Esc key, using wayshrines, buying something from a guild store or even switching guilds in the store, teleporting to a location in the map, deleting an item from inventory, unlocking a chest and many others.
It happens to me at least several times per hour and the only way to recover is to /reloadui.
Forget immersion-breaking... This is just plain annoying and frustrating.

FWIW, when this does happen, I am still able to move around and use powers. I just can't interact with any menu options or objects in the environment.

drschplatt✭✭✭✭I got the same thing last night after doing some crafting, when I popped out of the crafting UI back into game mode, I couldn't call my horse, talk to any NPCs, or even use escape to try and log off. I had to /reloadui.
I've had to /reloadui a lot after this most recent patch. Like the OP I can't figure out any pattern. It just seems to hit at random.Foräois - Imperial Sorcerer of Ineptitude.

I did a fresh install from the discs on a clean PC. I did not install any addons. This problem is still happening. Definitely not the fault of addons or the beta client.0 -
briasmith12Soul ShrivenI'm having the same problem, never have had add-ons. Hubby's computer has add-ons. Both experiencing the same problem. We actually had to stop playing last night because of this issue. Made the game impossible to play when one can't interact with anything, and when the map pops up with every key press.1 -
Bangstin✭✭✭Check your keybinds and remove any multiple binds on the same key.
