Terms of service- the reason for login error?

Hello

I had the Error Code 301:3:1:1229:90098 since yesterday evening.

I mailed support and they asked me to accept the new ToS.
But when I log on to my account (not forum account) I can't find any updates on the ToS.

If I choose at the bottom of the page to check the ToS and scroll down.
It says that it hasnt been updated since 2014-01-29.

So I wonder is this the source of the problem since they want me to accept some new ToS that I dont seem to see.

When does it says your ToS was last updated on?

Wow, I just read in another post that canceling a subscription somehow resolved the issue of not being able to log in. Also, we keep seeing this "Accept the new ToS, and try logging in again" message.

My math skills are a bit rusty but, if somehow since the last patch, the ToS has been updated, and IF it is related to our accounts, and IF that is true, do our accounts only have so long to accept the new ToS (say 72 hrs or so?) before being defaulted (kicked) off?

Even though this is not happening to everyone, is it safe to assume that whoever is left on the server (is playing) has somehow accepted the new ToS and is why they can keep playing? And if that is so, how is it that they are able to accept the new ToS and we arent? Additionally, why is it that we cannot see an Accept/Decline to the new ToS?

I think we need someone from up above to answer this question for us. If 2 and 2 do equal 4 in the end, and this is the simple resolve to all of our problems, perhaps there needs to be some delving in to the ToS issue, if it is indeed tied to our accounts.

Please keep in mind that I am speculating all of this, which makes it purely hypothetical but, there may be something tied together in all of us getting the same response.

To answer the OP's post, Im pretty sure that the ToS update is universal to everyone, being as we all should see the same thing. But, for your inquiry: "Last updated 2014-01-29" is what I see as well.

I just felt it was wierd that if they had updated ToS that it's not stated in the ToS you can read when you log on to your account.

I wish there was a way to see if you had accepted it or not.
