Is it agianst ToS to log in and off all the time to exploit the game and get chest to respawn and drawers etc?

Seravi✭✭✭✭✭There were a ton of threads about this a while back. Can't remember what ZOS officially said about it. I think that is one of the reasons they nerfed the motifs and such is because players were doing this.0 -

I ask cuz I have reported 2 players I had on my friends list earlier cuz they used to log on and off like 7 times in 20 minutes0 -
Semfim✭✭✭Well there are other reasons for logging on and off... i for one am a pack rat and gather everything i get a hold of, which makes me have loads of alts and log on and off to sort stuff from the bank... I even had a fellow player who was on my friend list asking me if I was exploiting! (which i was not)
That all got sorted when one of my guild mates introduced a auto-bounce add-on for ingame email and now i just send everything his way and then log the alts and collect everything at the same time.
Just saying that if you do not have access to such a feature and rely solely on the limited bank space we got and like to hoard stuff you mandatorily got to log relog...0 -

dannymcgr81b14_ESO✭✭✭✭There was an official word on this a couple of weeks ago. They said it wasn't against the rules but they were looking for a better way for people to get motifs and things. That was just before they nerfed the drop rate and we started getting all these empty containers that looked full until you opened them.0 -

Sometimes I log off then remember that I meant to go and start some research and log straight back in on the same character. Sure glitches and such can happen but like I stated the last guy logged on like 7 times in 20 minutes to the same character in the same place.
Most of the time when you need to fix glitches you normally log of 1 and twice.
When I see people do it to relog alt I dont care0
