Compass Bug - Please fixie!

This is a little annoying bug with the compass within the game. Icons get stuck in place (doing /reloadui makes it worse, so don't ask)

The only way to resolve this is by loading to character screen (or rebooting the game)

I've had this happen a few times. Didn't need to restart, try setting/removing marker on the map (default F). Worked for me every time.

Those markers you see are not from me, they are areas on the map

    I know that, I don't mean those...

While your in-game map is open (default M) you can set your own custom marker (small green(ish) square) by holding your mouse cursor over an area on the map and pressing F (default). Hold your mouse cursor over the set custom marker and press F again to remove it.
Cycling that I have found to clear the stuck game-markers on the compass.

Had them lock up on me a few times and this fix always works for me.

Ok, just tried this and it is not unsticking the Quest markers, still bugged for me.

Sorry to hear that. I guess a bug ticket in-game will have to do for now.
    Good luck.
