Black screen at login

Since the patch, every time I try to login I enter my user name and password - press enter and get taken to a black screen that only has the game title and the loading icon.

I logged a ticket and so far the only advice I have been given is the same as the stuff I have been reading in the forums. I've tried everything everyone has suggested and I still can't log in. 2 days without the game - very frustrating.

If anyone has anything that actually worked for them I'd love to hear it.

I have the same problem, CS contacted me, I'll share the info. It didn't for for me but I'll post it so you can try.

This issue seems to be related to a new fullscreen mode introduced in the patch. Please try the following:

Navigate to C:\Users\Username\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live
Locate the file UserSettings.txt and open it with Notepad
Locate the line starting SET FULLSCREEN_v5 - it will be set to SET FULLSCREEN_v5 "2"
Change this to SET FULLSCREEN_v5 "1" and save the file
Restart the launcher and hit Play

I read that Alt+Enter to take it in and out of fullscreen mode worked for someone.

I get a black screen when I log out of the game and then have to force end the game, wonder if its a related issue.

Not doing anything for me, just infinite load screen.

That's what I got told to do - as well as update my graphics driver, did nothing.

Alt+Enter doesn't stop it either.
