2 hours in Craglorn ..

So I thought I'd take a break from the group quests and explore a bit, doing some ruins etc, here's my experience in 2 hours ..


- 5 client crashes at various times, 2 that resulted in me not being able to loot a world boss chest
- 2 occurrences where I'd died, but couldn't release, and was able to run around (meaning I had to ctrl+alt+delete my way out of the game)
- 3 ruins bosses that are being farmed constantly by v1+ people, with regular respawns, and no diminishing returns on loot chests (I killed one of the bosses 6 times, and got a purple most times)
- 2 broken quests, and another that was fixed with abandoning/retaking it
- Random mobs disappearing when engaged

Now, just to be clear, I'm pointing this out partially as a moan, but more as feedback. I'm veteran 10, and been looking forward to this particular patch (while also being a little concerned about whether it would work well). So far Craglorn hasn't been great, and as with most of ESO it has great potential but clearly the testing/fixing stage before release hasn't been thorough or efficient. Is it time to consider widening the access to the PTS? Or is i just a question of prioritising the fixing of bugs/issues like those described above.

The up-shot of 2 hours was constant frustration - not something I assume ZOS want for its paying customers.

    I honestly don't understand something, and maybe somebody can explain it to me. Why are so many vexed by the escape keys functionality being bugged at the moment. It seems like such a minor complaint. I don't know much about Macs, but if you are running Windows. All you need do is alt tab, and the game will minimize, and you can close the window.

    Game settings and the like are in the escape menu.

    Ive had 0 issues with it.

    No problems at craglorn to. Are you sure that you didnt bypassed the automatic patcher like some fools are saying that you should bypass/canchel?

    If you did so:
    please open the launcher(evtl. letit patch) and click the small cogwheel above the news then start the repair tool and be patient.

    The Craglorn we tested on the PTS is not the same Craglorn that was pushed to live. The PTS Craglorn was *much* harder (and that was a good thing!), the one on live is nerfed into the ground. Who knows what else is different.

    PTS either needs to go public or disappear ...

    Its going to.

    The craglorn pts was apparently Psijiic's reward for putting up with the closed long term test.

    What they should do is what EQ2 has with a persistent test realm. No templates, roll there and play like a normal server. You get patches first and bugs, no exclusive anything.
