I dont know what is going on but since the patch my comp is acting really weird.
I got a 6 core amd processor running all 6 on 4000mhz, have 8gb ddr3 ram, i build my own computer 2 years ago and never has it crashed until that patch.
Eso is using over 6gb of my ram now, loadingscreen gets stuck and then my comp freezes up. The few times i got in there was major lag while my homelatence was 28ms.

Any1 else have so many problems since patch?

I'm having similar problems. It is extremely laggy regardless of video settings, and eventually it totally locks up the machine after a while. In fact the game crashed once, and after waiting a few minutes and starting the game up again, it crashed my computer outright when it started. This needs to be sorted out before the weekend is up.

Since the little patch yesterday, I haven't had the crash to black screen issue again. I never had the login issue, so I can't comment on that although it seems persistent for other folks.

There's been a memory leak issue with ESO since the patch. In laymen's terms the longer it runs then the more RAM it's eating up. After long periods of time it's using so much system memory that the lack of available memory will cause crashes, long load times, lag, ect.

The game is playable mind you. However depending on your system you might need to completely close out the game and then re-launch it about once every hour or two until the issue is resolved. When you shut it down make sure you give it about 30 seconds or so before starting it up again so that your system has time to purge ESO's usage. The other day I had my task manager open in Windows 8.1 and ESO was still eating up a portion of system memory for about ten seconds. Guessing it wasn't quite done shutting down despite the fact that no ESO related windows were open and the game wasn't technically running at that point.
