...you might want to hold off on fishing for now.
After checking my Achievements List, it's clear to me that none of the rare fish I caught after the Version 1.1.2 update were counted towards the achievements shown on the list. Until ZeniMax comes out with a statement that the issue is fixed, I would hold-off on fishing (if you haven't already done so).
While it's entirely possible that the fish are still being counted, or that we may get credit for catching said rare fish after it gets fixed, I just wouldn't take the chance as you won't be rewarded with anything out of it.
I've gone ahead and sent an e-mail to ZeniMax about the bug, so let's hope it gets fixed along with the other issues with the Achievements List next week.

Same here. Guess it's time to finally stockpile on Worms...
I know the lot of us who do like to fish in-game tend to be put on the backburner with these updates. I'm also hoping it doesn't take yet another month until fishing is looked into...but who can say?
I didn't get a clear response in my email to them other than that they knew about it being a bug; hopefully, we can get some sort of ETA from ZOS about when the issue might get fixed, but knowing how these updates have been for Fishing in-game, we'll most likely just be put on the backburner again until the next large content update.

What's meant to happen when you catch a green / fine fish?
I've caught a few today (didn't catch the names) however they didn't appear in my inventory...0 -
Korozenn✭✭✭✭@RashosMedaresh While the rare fish are 'supposed' to be looted and appear in your inventory, currently that's yet another broken aspect already known by ZeniMax---we can't loot rare fish as a result right now either, I'm afraid.
With this update, those green 'rare' fish you find in fishing holes were supposed to count towards the Fishing achievements in your journal, but they don't across any faction zones, meaning there's a disconnect going on somewhere between the old and new achievements list most likely.Edited by Korozenn on May 24, 2014 10:20PM0
