Latest patch says "The rate at which you can earn racial motifs and provisioning recipes from lootable containers and furniture has been slightly reduced."
So please tell me why there is a new person selling either an Ancient elf or daedric motif every 5mins since this patch?
I've heard there is an exploit in daggerfall.
In one day, the price of these motifs have reduced by 200%.
Ticks me off they I paid a huge amount 3 days ago for an ancient elf and daedric and now this occurs.
Forever screwing the economy.

Saerydoth✭✭✭✭To me, it feels like the motif drop rate has been buffed. I went for several weeks without finding a single one (after the first nerf). Then, after this patch, I found 3 in one day.0 -
Lalaeith✭✭✭The drop rate has been nerfed in patch 1.0.5. They just forgot to mention it , so they mentioned it now. What they did, was fixing an error where unopened containers turned out to be empty, so they now either contain something or look empty to begin with. So Saerydoths impression could be quite right if they just filled in the missing loot.

Shaun98ca2✭✭✭✭✭The Motif system either simply needs a change or your gonna get too many of them at ANY percentage or simply NOT see them at all.
This is the same reason as to why there is no central AH for the game, cause then everything would be handed to you on a silver platter for dirt cheap.
Its already been shown with the Motifs...I believe what happened was the rate of Motifs was too high so they were temporarily removed from the game till the rate was reduced as it was this last patch.1 -
LadyDestiny✭✭✭✭✭I keep hearing how great the drop rate is in daggerfall. I am still in EP side of VR content so yet to get there. Drop rate sucks in EP zones. Seems like they slacked off on making containers and unfinished buildings(half of house is not accessable) etc..... I have only looted one rare so far some time back. Containers have not changed. Still crap in them, tons of lockpicks, low level items or unopened containers yielding nothing. I don't see any change.1
