I think you are mistaken. Have you even checked your memory allocation for eso while running the game? You say you can handle a memory leak easily, what, you have like 5 terabytes of RAM? Because it will devour 4gig in under 45 minutes (and does not stop there) if you are one of the affected (you know you are affected by weird ass lag, then lask of responsiveness, then game just quitting on you eventually.)

This afternoon I was hit with a huge download from the launcher. I expected a 1.1.2 patch, but not 26GB worth. From this thread and others, it appears I'm lucky in a way.
I've made the decision today to just give up on ESO, at least for a while. It's not stable, they clearly don't even know how to address the performance and memory leak issues.Every patch says they have fixed memory leaks, yet they persist.
Given that I never was credited with the 30 days of free game time that they promised when I bought the game, my play time will be officially over in 6 days, and I feel pretty well ripped off. I spent a lot of money to upgrade my GPU specifically because I was excited about this game. Oh well, it'll come in handy for something else I suppose.
I'll keep monitoring the forums in the hope that they eventually figure it out.
