6 month sub - can you change your mind? Or get a part-refund?

Hey,

So, I signed onto a 6 month sub, thinking that the game's problems would be fixed by now. Clearly they haven't, and I've really regretted wasting that money.

Which, incidentally, is the saddest thing I've ever written, because I SO wanted this game to work.

Can you get a part-refund if you cancel on the 6 months?

    I'm not sure about full refund, you may still get charged for a month. Best to ring up their billing dept and find out?
    (hopefully billing are more competent than CS)

    EDIT -
    (Forget I said about billing being competent, just remembered the whole double charge thing...lol)

    Bad idea to buy anything over a 1 month sub to a any new mmo. Can't understand why people keep doing it. You save like a dollar per month with the longer sub but if you don't like the game and end up quitting 1-2 months into the sub you lose like 45-60 $

    I doubt you will get anything back, but you can always try and contact the support

    I sent a message to them today regarding this, If i get a reply I will post here. Knowingly releasing bugged content is pretty much the last straw for me sadly.

    @Altissimus‌ well, I sent a strongly worded message a couple weeks ago to ask for one, I never actually followed through, but they did reply to me, twice. Seemed they were willing.

    Got my reply from support, in short "no". Stuck with your six months im afraid.

    If they dont sort anything I know they wont be getting another penny out of me.

    I don't want to be too mean, but the longer term contracts and discounts are about commitment, there would be no point in offering a 6 month option if it's possible to just cancel it after a month or 2 and get a refund. I do understand though, I switched from 3 month to 1 month before the payment was due and will take it step by step.

    Wish I had done 1 month now, had more faith in them when I did the 3 month one. Just wish they would commit like I did.

    Their answer is understandable, even if I don't like it :)

    Sadly I did the same. I was fully willing to put forth all the commitment to this game and I can't even log in. I don't know what to do.

    I have, however, learned my lesson very quickly.

    Well, I'll say one thing: next time ZoS run a game, I'll be watching suspiciously from the sidelines and they won't get a Penny from me until they've demonstrated a better attitude than they have here by far.

    Worst customer service and community support I have seen of any game ever.

    Actually in the UK the saving for a longer sub was a bit more than that (good thing, considering we paid a good $20 equivalent more for the initial purchase!)

    I don't disagree in principle, but would amend it to something more along the lines of "don't spend what you can't afford to lose". :)

    Well just processed my cancellation, they have 2 months to sort it out. I have also taken the time to raise a ticket and tell them what they need to do to have me resub. I even did this in a very polite manner. Wont post it here or this will just become a quitting thread and be closed off.

    I have a glimmer of hope left, I would like to see that grow but I strongly suspect the canned response I will get to the ticket will snuff it out completely.
