Massive Bot Trains

I went on NA server today, and went onto Forgotten crypts to do a quest, well, as soon as i entered i found myself surrounded by bots, art least 10 in each train, and over five trains that i could count. It was hard to target them to report. but i managed to get one, but it made the dungeon unplayable.

this has to be prior to the patch, it appears his addon are working...as far as i know, the addons haven't been updated yet.

I strongly recommend the add-on "FastReport" to help in those situations. Simply position your reticle over a bot and it captures all the information you need to fill in the report automatically - time, location, name, etc... So, even if a bot simply runs through and passes under your cursor, you capture the info and can then report them.

You can tick the box to load out of date addons.

The bots are still there, the owners just have to manually restart them due to the downtime. This happens every down time - "The bots are gone!". Then the owners restart them.

Dear Zen. I cannot delete my previous incidentally made comment on Android. In addition writing and editing comments became a real nightmare lately. Please think about making better mobile ver.

    Thank you

I recommend not reporting them at all. Still bunches of VR bots in Coldharbour and im pretty sure i reported them last time i was there about 3 weeks ago. They don't get banned obviously or we wouldn't have VR rank bots.

I too have got to the point where I think I'll stop reporting them. I seem to be spending an unhealthy amount of time trying to report the numerous Bot trains in Coldharbour. The sense of achievement when I finally got my character to Coldharbour vaporized instantly when I saw what was going on there. It is really very annoying and a HUGE disappointment..
Surely if Zen are serious about doing something about it they would not need dozens of reports from me. They could simply run around Coldharbour themselves for 10 mins and screen shot the plague of bots running around in there.
The only satisfaction in the whole sorry mess, is that last night there were so many Bot Trains in there, that they were actually stealing resources before the next Bot train came along.
That put a small smile on my face. :)

So 1.1.2 has no anti-bot code in it at all? Guess that's no surprise but disappointing, seems ZOS have put up the white flag then.

ZOS don't put security measures in patch notes for obvious reasons. Fighting bots is a constant battle, people will always find new ways to exploit the system (or keep using old ways until they're closed).

They are still there. I have been trying to do that dungeon for weeks. I can't due to the bots in there. They totally lag out the area as well as making that dungeon impossible to play.

The bot problem on the EU server Aliance: Daggerfall Area: Glenumbra seems to be worse after the patch than it was yesterday.
