I just started launcher and the patch applying is 25gb, just as the same size of full game ?

steviep✭Same here. This is the second time its happened to me. It's not feasible for me to play your bugged out game if I have to keep this up, as my cable internet plan is only 80 Gig a month. So, ESO people, whens this going to stop?1 -

Patcher just checking if all files are valid - im curently "downloading" at 30,91 MB per SECOND

did you play with language or region settings within the laucher?
did you spam the launcher so much it gave you an "manifest" error and then clicked "repair"

steviep✭Yes. I started out with 2.6 to download and was pissed off about that. Then the initial 2.6 downloaded and it blew out to 22 gigs I needed to DL. Tries going into the directory to bypass the launcher but no luck. Just had to bend over and let Zenimax do me like that3

steviep✭Update: after 2.6 gigs, I had to download 22 gigs. now It's gone on with another 6 or so gigs of *** to download. That's 30 gigs. Almost half my monthly download. WTF zenimax? I bought a physical copy of the game when it first came out. Is that my problem right there? What the hell is going on?1

ok, then that looks like the same bug as the beta-> release when you had to rename your folder -_-
well, the 2.6 are almost done, and don't have the disk space for 22g on this ssd

Hornex✭✭Its not 25GB, the patch gets downloaded. I believe is was about 2.5 - 2.6GB.
The 22GB part is the files already on your computer and the part that looks like a download rate is the rate at which the patch is being applied.

Niliu✭✭✭Okay people, listen closely. What's DOWNLOADED, and what's APPLIED are two very different things. When a patch is DOWNLOADED, that's the patch being taken from the server and brought to your machine. That counts against your data plan. When a patch is being APPLIED, its the content already on your PC being applied to the game, this is the actual patching. This does not count against your data plan.

And no it wasnt "applying" - it was file scan at 30 MB/s. Files that were allready on my HD drive, i also added in my second post my true download speed, so i cant even tell how you get confused about that

Patch is ~2790mb. It's first numbers you see when launcher starts up first time after patch.
All other MBs is a PATCH PROCESS.
