Performance issue after 1.1.2 patch - some observations
Hi,
I have 2 boxes with different graphic card, and shows very different performance after the patch, which seems strange to me.
Box 1:
i5-3470 3.2GHz 4cores
MSI GTX750 OC 2GB
DDR3-1600 8GB
Win8.1 x64, driver 337.50
The new fullscreen locks the FPS at 30 in Wayrest, which is quite disappointing.
But changing back to the full window mode brings the FPS back to 45~60, just like before the patch.
Box 2:
FX-6350 3.9GHz 6cores
MSI 7850 PowerEdition OC 2GB x2
DDR3-1600
Win8.1 x64, driver 14.4 WHQL
The new fullscreen can utilize CrossFireX, so there's a significant FPS increase, from 28~50 in Wayrest to 50~60.
Forcing single card in new fullscreen, however, give no performance drop vs. full window mode. This is quite different with the box 1.
Both box uses the same ESO settings.
Memory leak is confirmed, but no crash or other video issues during short play.
The stability for long play remains to be seen.
