I'm still enjoying it, however I'm still updating Craglorn patch, and from the sounds of it, there's hurt waiting for me. Nevertheless, I'm not one to *** over small changes.

we'll see what happens. As I stated in another thread, time (and sub count) will tell the true tale if this game lives or dies.

ON another note, I've seen some dev posts on other issues (such as the memory leak issue), so if they haven't replied to this one yet, it's either

    A: intended, or
B: unintended, but they don't have a solution yet.

This company seems to not want to talk to us unless they either need more info (they can't reproduce the issue internally), or they have a solution (i.e. they can make us happy). I guess if you want to look for the silver lining, based on their previous performance, it could be that they know it's an issue (it's obvious, they don't need any more input from us), and they are working on a solution.

I can certainly understand the desire to avoid such turbulence in the forums, but this isn't some small issue that they can hope calms down or goes away. they will honestly drop subs like flies if they don't at least act like they are doing something.

I'm giving them a week to respond to the issue, then im dropping my subs. I don't need this from a company that charged me 70$ per game, and 15$ per month for the opportunity to NOT play 2/3 of the game. not when there are games out there that are in much better shape, and some don't charge me anything to play them (ironically, i actually subscribe to some of those...I feel they are worth my money).

In the trip from 1-50 I Ioved in this game. I'm almost more frustrated because of that. it was so much fun, and it ended like a government construction project when i hit 50. I honestly hope that they can carry enough subs to make this game something that surives, and many more people can enjoy. I Think I'm a bit sad that it may not be me. it feels so polarized...but im rambling. we'll see what happens this next week.

I'm a little worried about keeping my credit card info. with this company given the problems. Do they have game cards available if I choose to play a month here or there?

From what I've seen there are game cards. it may be a viable solution if your like me and not sure if they really intend things to be so bad, or if they really think they're going in the right direction.

Undesided, but tending towards no. When a patch comes out and seems to break more things than it fixes, that is usually a bad sign. I'm on a 3 month sub, 1 month down, two more to go. I'll reassess my plans for a resub as renewal time gets closer.

For me it's the punish the players because we didn't think we would get gold spamming bots in our game (their words about not thinking they would get gold spammers). Way too many gold sinks with loot table that was taken from the single player game but not the full loot system of the single player game. Etc Etc...

But my fiancé and I didn't play for a few days, he asked if we could play and I said okay. We did some stuff on our mains...nothing demanding. Then I went to my low level and he joined. Not 15 minutes in he was sighing and I asked you want to go back to the main? He said no I'm tired of playing this game. And he was a die hard fan...>.> Says something to me as it should Zenimax.

But anyways gonna go check out the forums until Tropico 5 is done downloading!

    Don't like all these levels.

The level cap should be 62 right now. Veteran ranks shouldn't exist. And leveling from 1-62 should be somewhat of a grind. PvP should have it's own leveling system.

Also don't like Tamriel's set up, all broken up, with separate factions, and this forced provincial dungeon crawl. All these currently available areas should have been released as new content, with easy and challenging zones. Characters could have started from anywhere, and then proceeded to explore freely. Skyrim worked fine that way.

None of this design makes any sense. Unnecessarily convoluted. Too many cooks spoiled the broth.

Speaking of broth, the fact that we can't find new recipes to learn at vet rank is so utterly absurd...that alone is enough for me to not want to play this game.

Right now I'd say they have inexperience handicapping them. Seems like there are people in place of power that should not be there. I hope in the next couple of months we can see a more refined delivery of patches, as well as better communication and transparency overall of upcoming changes.

Their hearts are good, but application and delivery roll out is shoddy.

I like it a lot because it seems that the game was made for me. For some reason I love MMO's, but I don't really enjoy grouping a lot, I'd rather run solo 90% of the time. I know I'm in a very small minority, but to me this is the MMO I've been looking for quite some time.

I'm just worried we're going to run out of Tamriel space and then they're going to start adding in content like Akavir or Pyandonea or more Hollow Cities. I'm also concerned that the first content patch introduced "original lore" even though TES provides us with plenty.

Also not a fan of having a very linear leveling system.

I had to come read the Forums to figure out they completely broke the game we just spent 6 hours playing. Seriously though, we definitely noticed that the mobs were much tougher in VR content. I figure that's not intended & will probably be fixed, but I don't mind the challenge. I've had to keep a trigger finger on the emergency heal tonight. Also noticed the delay in Biting Jabs...that might or might not be intended. Before today, you could hit a new Biting Jabs before the current one finished...it might have been stacking damage? Not sure. I'm not a 1-hit wonder with the jabs, so it didn't "break" me or anything.

As I've been saying all along, it amazes me how many people dog ESO for being a Singleplayer MMO then complain when it presents a challenge that might require people to work together.

because it's not advertised as having to group to do basic quests

Precisely. The whole VR thing is nothing more than a cheap cop out. Those areas were for my alts. No amount of specious 'alternate reality' hand waving bullcrap disguises that fact.

I simply don't want to spend time grinding my Breton by fighting for the enemy against my own side. It is first order, high grade nonsense.

Craglorn should have been the post to content. Or if you wanted players to be able to take their characters into other areas it should have been via a proper story line with different quests. At the absolute bare minimum very least there should be no missions that bring you up against your own side.

I am so disappointed in the whole VR thing. It has turned into a never ending grind with the goal of being able to partake in pvp on an even footing receding into the distance for anyone not power levelling through.

If this game is to have any non FTP future ZMO need to get their act together at warp speed. But unfortunately they either cannot or will not. I think it is the latter. There is a stubborn unwillingness to admit things aren't working, it's full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes.

When your vision has as big a fan of the game as me thinking okay, get my 2 characters to 50 and then go play ArcheAge then you are screwing up big time.

What will return me to being the fan who wants to play for years? Get rid of this VR, Star Trek alternative reality nonsense. It's fooling no one. Make Craglorn the next area or provide another solo group alternative. Or make cyrodiil a viable alternative levelling route.

Or something. If you want to be a premium game you have to provide premium content. Grinding old content for specious reasons is not premium content. That is content we were going to have fun alting.

And this is all leaving aside the apparent inability to patch anything without royally screwing things up. Releasing something you knew was broken is insane. All this flailing around you imagine is 'rebalancing' while leaving serious issues like night blade passives broken is frankly bizarre.

None of this is going to win back the customers you lost releasing an unpolished beta.

I so want this to be a premium sub game that delivers a modern gaming experience but the only future I see for it at the moment is a FTP relaunch in 9 months time.

It really depends on my bad player casual scrub friend. Hes convinced that ZOS doesnt want him to play the game. Hes not here for challenge, hes here for Elder Scrolls and punching bags. Main quest is stuck on Halls of Torment(cannot complete at 42) because he cant stand and faceroll Lyris and when he goes, I go, regardless of how much I like the game.

I believe it was Sage or Firor that said "MMO only means there are others in your worldspace".

No mandatory grouping was the key thing that sold me here.

I feel screwed out of that seeing Craglorn as the first 2 patches.

The game is getting worse, not better.
    Bots own the game.
    Customer care is laughable.
The technical problems are not getting fixed and the latest patch introduced a load of new ones.

It's such a shame because the game world is beautiful, the questing well thought out and the feeling of immersion is superb. Until the machine locks up, or a quest is broken, or I can't see the quest mobs for bot trains, or I get close to a contested keep in Cyrodill....
