Other spammables aren’t competitive because everyone runs around with 30-40k health lmao, if they hard capped health and made burst combos relevant again other skills would be competitive, however whilst wardens and werewolves are criting 11k arctic blasts and healing howls, a 3.5-4k class spammable like necro skull or warden bird isn’t providing much killing power.3 -
Vetixio✭✭✭✭D-Swing is fine if there is no lag very easy to dodge/block, it does a little too much both high damage+off balance considering how cheap it is (basically like every werewolf ability does too lol.) Necro skulls, DK rock fist thing, and Warden bird are all trash, and sorcs don't even have a 'true' spammable.
If those abilities were adjusted to actually be useful and viable, you wouldn't see 90% of people using dswing anymore. Everybody seems to understand this except the development team. Instead they gave Stam DKs a bad spammable that they (somehow) made even worse, made the Warden birds usefulness conditional on you being too far away to kill your enemy, and necro skulls are so bad they're just a meme.11 -

Makes their play style easier and facing an stamina class boring as hell. Is always the same with very little to no difference.6 -

On a tank today over resist cap without buffs (warden). 55k health. Got globaled by 2 people in 2 seconds while blocking.
Something is broken with the game, or people are exploting...I am seeing things like this all day.

✭I'll wade into this toxic hellhole of a thread with a reminder that S&B skills received a big nerf to their damage right around the time 2h skills were buffed, circa Wolfhunter I think. Prior to that 2h was often called a "buff stick" and D Swing was regarded as a gutter tier spammable. Still I'd vote for buffing DW above restoring the damage to S&B skills or worrying about class spammables.

artal✭✭✭What i find funny are these out of [snip] percentages that 90% of people are running dizzy. Personally on pc eu out of very good stam players i see I don't see dizzy being that dominant. I used to used it but its been off my bars for months.
And for low mmr streamers saying dizzy is OP, to be honest at that mmr broom is op and any bad build is op and viable.
I saw plenty people in years saying how dizzy is OP only to try it and beeing so bad at it running back to comfort of their builds.
Just saying to stop with the nerfs, buff something if needed and learn to play before complain.

Yeah, when 90% of people run a skill, everyone cries for it to get nerfed, not for everything else to get buffed. D Swing already got nerfed, it is fine where it is now. The problem is that all of the other spammable options are trash compared to it, so of course everyone runs D swing...because what else are they gonna run? Spoon? Fork? Paper Towel? Because that's how all of the other options feel like.
Basically the problem isn't that D swing is OP, it is that the other spammables are Trash panda tier, they need a buff.6 -

✭✭✭I don't think dizzy swing isolated is a problem at all. It's so easy to avoid and mitigate. The people that rely on spamming it normally have a very predictable burst pattern in fact most the time it is: dizzy, dizzy, dizzy, execute. If it is a warden add shalks before, same with necro with BB. A DK leaps at the end... If they aren't low enough to execute keep hitting dizzy 😂 the exploiter passive is gone next patch anyway right? So it's already taking a damage nerf indirectly.
Being as objective as I can I think it was the most balanced when it only set people off balance and you had to follow up with a heavy/medium. That way it wasn't a direct stun, but was a set up to it.
Arguably I would say what makes 2h usually the best option is firstly rally. It's major brutality, huge burst heal and sustain in one. I think it should be moved to fighters guild or something similarly to make all weapon options a viable option.
Secondly dizzy saves you slotting a stun and allows room for another defensive/offensive skill.

This man gets it, people forget getting warden wombo combo’d when spin to win still had the execute built it, a 2-3 man was running around with the killing power to dump out zergs. people think d swing spam meta is painful, at least you can get away from it, spin to win in open world lag was just an awful thing to deal with.3 -
Weathur✭✭No, dizzying swing is probably my favorite skill in the game simply because you can chose to use it and be successful, or chose not to use it an be successful. There's not a single stam class that is worse off NOT using the skill, and even some better avoiding it. The CC is extremely easy to break and predictable and can be entirely avoided by block at the right time.1

Can you imagine how hard it is play with a Magicka class with trash spammble and without dwsing and Executioner, you can't block as stamina you can roll dodge as stamina and you don't have a burst heal as rally....
The guy who play stamina must play Magicka in Cyrodill and IC for one month and then they'll see what is play with trash. (expect sorcerer.)

There will be times where you’re clearly out of range or behind someone but they are still hitting you.Zerg of House Smallscale, First of his name, wielder of Volendrung, battleground hero, Cyrodiil butcher, the swifft footed, OG of the Templars and first pvpers, defender of scrolls and baiter of zergs.4 -
Sahidom✭✭✭✭D-swing and mass usage of CC effects moving into the coming Heavy Armor and CP changes that adds damage mitigation under CC immunity is going to change the overall effectiveness of this and many many other skills; its like an inverse method to offset ball group tactics.2

✭✭✭✭Most good PvPers I know don't even use dizzy since they feel like its too clunky (me included, master dw ftw).
I go out of my way to avoid using it - it's terrible in cyrodiil. Lag combined with players that have a brain make it so frustrating to use.
The stun can actually be a determent too. I much rather use a completely controlled stun, like reverb, fear or fossilise.
I'm using power slam as spammable on my stam dk and crystal weapon on my stam sorc as a spammable.2 -

✭I think it's a mix of the poor state of the game and dizzy still being a really strong spammable. We're talking 15k+ tooltips in full heavy with malacath. I'm fine with there being strong skills in the game but the difficulty to counter is exacerbated with the server issues. I've had friends who's dizzy takes 3 seconds to fire even in the best of conditions but I've faced people that can fire them off in rapid succession with almost zero delay, no wind up or anything, just *ping *ping *ping as it chips though your health. In all honestly as mentioned earlier most of the cc's in this game are broken but dizzy medium weave stun and werewolf howl are some of the worst offenders.Zaghigoth- Orc Stamplar

SOLDIER_1stClass✭✭✭✭2h in general out performs every other weapon type.
So either the other weapon skill lines need major buffs or 2h needs a nerf specifically targeting rally, executioner and dizzy swing.
And if we are going by zeni track record, a nerf is the more likely outcome.1 -
