Yeah, blame poor game design on the players.

POOR game design. No this is by far easily the BEST game design. To have your 1 faction topple 2 opposing factions is a true challenge with even greater rewards.

They promised us epic battles of 100 versus 100. They delivered. Now if they can just get it lag free like it was back in beta.

IF you think the PVP is nothing but a ZERGfest than make a 6 man group and assist the war by cutting off important transit lines and steal the elder scrolls. Fight off groups herding back to the zerg.

Basically make an attempt to be useful or join the zerg. Me I have no online friends so all I get to do is join the zerg unless I can find a small group willing to do cooler stuff.

It's a zergfest. Bigger zerg wins. Most emperors wins. Sorry pal, it's going to be zergy. You may be able to slow up a few guys here and there but rvr is always going to be about the bigger zerg.

If there is a benefit to be gained in swapping keeps and scrolls (emperors) then you better believe people will exploit it. They're ungodly slow at patching exploits so I would get used to it.

If you didn't want a "Zergfest" WHY would you have bought the game. The PVP was promoted as large battles. When you play shoots and ladders do you complain about all the shoots and ladders???

A zerg is a just simply a large group. Complaining about the Large Scale Battles is dumb that's what was promoted for the game. Its one of the reasons I got its. Other reason being the great story.

But as stated there is MORE to do in the PVP than just following the Zerg around.

As for keep swapping well that's simple. Learn to defend keeps. Theres a LOT of strategies out there that need to be deployed in order to win. ]

HINT HINT the strategy isn't just DEFEND, trust me you'll lose the keep everytime. The Faction with the best strategy can and will win the map and claim an emperor.

Seriously what's this thread about? Telling people how to play?

Emperor swapping. If it quacks like a duck......... You know

The game allows us to teamwork with other factions yes. We can even be in the same guild as our sworn enemies and chat all day long.

It results in stuff like this.

You can choose not to defend keeps, make deals not attack each other. Even choose not to repair, to flip back and fourth faster for massive exp (like in early access) or now for more former emperors.

Opposing factions also help each other to take keeps and scrolls. Seen it happen a lot of times. Big brother comes to help little brother, wipe the red army, than just leaves. So that baby brother can get the imperial keeps, based on some sort of earlier deal.

War tactics or cheating? Who knows. There is no official words on any of it.

Part of the fun in 3 faction PvP comes from loose alliances, friendly fire, sometimes even helping enemies for a little bit (the dagger will be at their throat by the time the third faction is no danger anymore)...
if you choose to play a game with PvP and 3 faction, that is what might happen.

If you don't like that, a game with just 2 factions seems better.

They'll take keeps and everything together..
The PVP system is completely unbalanced and they need to figure out how to stop this alliance, it's a great annoyance.

I cant help but disagree; not only do I disagree but I would like to see features to nurture alliances and truces among rival guilds. This nurtures a since of warfare and strategy and if anything insures that one Alliance isn't dominating a campaign for periods of time inconsistent with the fluid nature intended for the PvP in EOS.

I've actually never seen coordinated we won't attack you alliances between factions in Wabba... I've seen two factions attack different sides of a keep and skirmish with each other at the same time though... I've seen EP and DC attacking AD keeps and I just look at it as more people to kill.

Sitting in a queue for Wabbajack EP of 108, getting destroyed like usual. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if we found out guest's didn't count to population cap on campaigns. I don't get how a faction pushed back to two fronts can get out numbered in every fight while its population is capped

It's all about perspective. In Wabba DC zonechat the amount of times you hear "Why are AD working with EP when EP have the lead?" or similar is ridiculous.

Case in point: Yesterday (or earlier today depending on your timezone) EP attacked DC going for one of our scrolls (rather than take back their own scroll from AD).

This allowed AD to casually take Emperor. There was nothing DC could do about it. We were flat out protecting our scroll. Once AD had Emperor they pushed on our scrolls at the same time. I didn't see any cross-fighting between reds and yellows. Yellows to the North, Reds to the South. Heavily outnumbered we just managed to fend off DC but EP, using an exploit apparently, successfully stole our scroll.

So how does that look from a DC perspective? Collaboration? In reality it's just a mess. DC is as much a disorganised mess as EP. It always seems like the enemy is more organised in ESO PvP. Most of the time I play lately I spend it fighting yellow. Probably to our detriment but they don't really give us a choice.

We can't even organise ourselves let alone a dual-faction truce. But I'm glad it's just as disorganised in the other factions. Much more fun this way.

Two alliances working together is part of the politics in a 3 way war. It's called By Design - working as intended
Pro Tip: Form a group of 4 and hang out with the zerg. Now you can claim you only run with 4. I'm l33t

This is actually fairly common behaviour, 2 alliances helping each other.

What I don't agree with is the Emperor title farming - that is a pure exploit and all that did it should be banned.

Hopefully the 30day campaigns will help prevent this and make it harder for so many people to climb the ladder in such a short amount of time.

This is RvR... ganging up is supposed to happen against the higher point/population faction.

I can't say when I'm not on but when I am... EB was locked and AD/DC were 2 bars... so that gives them every right to gang up on EB.

Now the other day AD and EB ganged up on DC and we were all locked... think AD/EB didn't fight against each other for atleast 5 hours... keeps stayed the same the whole time on the east side.

If you mean last night then my guess is that EP was asleep already. They made a weak bid at the scroll when we were feasting on smurfs but their numbers were pretty low, although I didn't check the campaign screen... recruit oceanic moar.

Look this isn't rocket science. You look at the map and see AD is hitting EP in the south. You realize that if you hit kings and then arrius that you break all their teleports, put them down in score and make them recall back to defend thus leaving your faction to reclaim your scrolls/keeps.

I think I speak for my guild/guild group when I say we'd roll AD as soon as we saw them but killing EP and closing the score gap just makes it all more fun.

If AD is banging on EP - why would I pester them beyond my home keeps? I would rather multiply the pressure on the leading score faction and lessen their points per hour.

You're kidding. In this campaign we've seen exploits and sheer numbers determine the outcome. And you want to point the finger at AD if EP lose?

All campaigns should have been reset ages ago with all of the exploiting, bugs and population imbalances.

As it stands now with the AD population and their playerbase preferring the zerg a new campaign will see them destroy both EP and DC. There's no real victory for either DC or EP available here. It's a joke and we can only hope for sustained balanced numbers when the changes come.
