Enchanting Nerf?

So I read the patch notes saying they nerfed enchanting, and thought nah that would be silly. I also read that it wouldn't lower your level. I didn't pay much attention until I went to deconstruct a glyph and noticed that while I was 3/4 of the way thru lvl 28 yesterday I am now 1/4 of the way thru 27 today. Are they hoping people unsub so they don't have to keep this game going? Why would they make enchanting harder to level?

    They may have fixed this bug mentioned in the thread linked above, I imagine. The bug was that you'd level from 26 to 28, skipping 27 altogether, immediately find yourself at 50% experience toward 29, and realize that the total needed to achieve 29 (a total toward which you start halfway there, due to this bug) is about 250k exp.

    The end result was that you were at level 28 sooner than intended (having skipped 27) but that 28 took twice as long as intended to level passed (due to needing about 130k exp to level). The fact that you were not level 27 was a bug. You didn't lose out on any experience or crafting levels mathematically, it only looks that way. You're exactly where you were before.

    If you weren't experiencing the bug I outlined, then I have no idea. Good luck in figuring out what happened, though.

    Yeah i remember the week I was 27 as well, but thats hardly the point.

    The XP gained at the junction between 27 - 29 has been taken into consideration so people have been adjusted as it should be. yeah its a pain, but it does sort out a long standing issue.

    If you do think you've be cheated your best bet is to log the bug in game as this area of the forums see's little Dev input as its not for that aspect.
