    4. Level Imbalance: THis game is Home of the Vets... don't mistake it for anything else. Low lvls are not able to be effective in PvP. However VR1+; esp VR5+ should be at least semi-effect.

Lies! Give them some oil in a nice safe area and watch them rack up kills. :P

    My interpretation was:
Whatever they do, there will be people complaining about it. Best is to ignore the immediate reactions (aside from bug reports) and see if it settles.
They can't get any decent feedback before 1-2 days have passed and people actually played with the new version of the game

lag due to EU servers in USA

Sorry to burst your bubble but I live in the US and play on the EU server, we have the same lag here.

Could you, please, be so kind and explain to me how you are getting the "same" lag in US as we get in EU. Isn't the actual distance a factor when lag is concerned?

Some people simply do not understand the difference between lag due to server responding slowly and latency...

If the server response is slower than the lantency delay it doesnt matter from where you are connected.

Same lag? I guess you mean latency.

So, if you mean latency, you have no clue boy.

If you mean you have the same lag playin

Lol you just gave proof you have not a single clue, so please stop trying to teach others.

Latency sums up, its not like the highest latency value is your final latency.

If the server is adding a 150ms delay due to poor netcode or whatever problem in ZOS end, and you are in the US then the latency is the sum of both server delay and the delay of both your network card plus all of the delay in the way to the server due to both all the routing it goes thru and the fact that signal travels at a speed so the time to arrive depends on the distance traveled.

Im an industrial electronic eng. Every electronic compound add latency. Im not speaking just about networks even if the reasons for it are the same. A simple electronic circuit made for a rf system for a community garage needs to have into account the number of logic doors and everyother component because it will delay the output signals for every one of them.

When you are using clock signals in the simplest circuits, the slightest delay can cause troubles because it could mean an imput combination not calculated at first, yielding unknown outputs.

If the poor netcoding is adding a 150ms layer, then people in NA will have their distance added on top of it. If you are adding 50ms being in the same country then you are playing with 200ms. And yes, it sucks even for NA players.

Now, we play from Europe, with the same 150ms layer, but the distance to the servers adds another 150-200ms wich makes it far worse than yours.

So please, save your "same lag" *** for your 15yo friends. There are some people here that know how latency works, and its obvious you are not one of them.

"o please, save your "same lag" *** for your 15yo friends"

    Insulting in forums very childish.

Sure latancy matters in some way, but not with this problem, if they would move the server to EU we still would have lag.
Would TESO Server response quicker we in EU would have not so much lag.

Maybe my post was not write right cause english is not my mother tongue.

but we from EU would play normaly, if the server runs good, sure our lag is worse than the us people, but both have unplayable lag, this must be fixed after that i would like to see EU Server in EU.

It is still borked for small groups. 1 person can defend a keep for a long time against a raid of 20 or less with the current merc spam, especially since they tend to bug out and go invulnerable when large numbers are spawned. Between that and the fast respawning guards it is not really fun anymore. It was much more fun when smaller groups (not a giant zerg) could make a difference or had the ability to actually take keeps with the right tactics. there are still a few that work, but they are pretty cheeseball.

NO... that just lead to tons of ninja-raiding by VR10+s all over the map. This way forces battles to require strategy and not just mindless ram doors down and take fast.

Oh my god, that guy again. He was raging all over the GW2 forums for a while (and made himself look like a fool) against anything and anyone who was interested in skill based pvp. So fighting your personal vendetta against more skilled players in TESO now as well?

Smaller, more skilled groups is exactly what this game needs. Come on bark at me, how the big bad elites destroy your beautiful zerging...

    Getting old.
