See this is exactly what I am talking about, NO COMMUNICATION! This is your first step and the reason why people are leaving... YOUR CUSTOMER BASE is in dire need of a fix for crap and your responses are always "Soon" This is BS and sadly i hate to say it the reason why this game is going to fail. The game is out already we have details on everything and you guys are still trying to spoon feed us this soon crap. Sorry ZOS your priorities are backwards and my sub is gone all because of this post right here... I'm tired of this soon crap, im a paying CUSTOMER!!! How would you like it if you put your car in the shop and every time you called and asked when it will be fixed they would say "Soon  " you wouldn't like it at all? SO why do it to us @ZOS_GinaBruno‌ ?

If there's nothing to test yet, how do you expect them to know when you'll get PTS access? Honestly, the level of privileged, bratty response ZO gets here, for even the most innocuous post, is unreal. I'm surprised they still have the forums at this point.

Soon is a reasonable answer. Im sure you give exact dates and explanations every time you carry a conversation in your business.

Considering that I have deadlines I have to meet or contracts get broken, then yes, I give dates as to when product will be complete and shipped. The vast majority of businesses work this way, and the fact that you think it doesn't shows a level of ignorance that I'm not even going to touch.

And on topic, when in regards to the PTS, they don't give dates. They barely acknowledge the bugs that are reported. The only time they even mention 'soon' is in regards to bugs that they pushed out anyway that were reported, and then became bigger issues since it dealt with more people once it was pushed anyway. If you want to simmer in blind delusion of how this company has dealt with things, be my guest.

Yeah but what if you were told the PTS would be open next Monday at 8 am, then turns out they were wrong about the date and time. Who do you think would be in trouble for posting wrong information?

The reason you don't get specific answers is because they practice a little something called CYA.

I've worked long enough to know what that acronym means. And I practice it religiously. I am pretty sure the ESO forum mods know what I mean.

Well, since they aren't breaking any contracts, even if the PTS is completely done away with by tomorrow, your post has no merit.

Really? Would be good news if I actually cared at this point. You didn't listen to beta testers before the game went live so why would we think you will listen now?

Really a bratty response? They promised us difficulty in craglorn and didn't deliver, they promised alot of other things that they aren't delivering, and sadly the only future of this game is reliant upon a test server because there is nothing on live that i even care about at this point. There is always crap to test, the problem is, nobody listens so i don't even know why it matters to me. Would be nice to get some results eventually, they just keep bringing crap out then not working on it, this game is junk, because nobody cares and as soon as someone opens up and admits that the customer cares and can tell the Dev's or somebody along the line doesn't its a "bratty" response, is that the only way you know how to combat people who tell the truth like it is?

The guy is right. Soon is a garbage answer. Next week, next month, within this month, the next few months, tomorrow, hopefully fall... are all better than soon.

I'll take a ballpark answer over a soon anyday especially when things are as broken and approaching hopeless as there are right now.

No patch notes so far. I don't have direct confirmation of this but my sources are other PTS testers who noticed the update on their clients.

Edit: never mind I guess they just went up.

With all the changes to the the classes for the last months that are completely stupid I wonder what the "special invited PTS" players are doing, or even if ZOS even listen to them.

ZOS need to open up PTS for ever yesterday because all the class changes are quite bad. Because they nerf the wrong skills. Post VR 8 zones it's close to impossible to kill any solo quests mobs in melee/close quarter.

Melee needs to be allot more viable in PvE VR ++ content or you will start to loose allot of players because as it is now every class needs to use destro + restro staff or not do VR ++ quests at all. This has to be looked at ASAP because you're loosing subscribers because of this.

The biggest impact of pts/ptr is before launch and before major raid content is introduced. I don't think another raid instance, er, adventure zone is scheduled to be released for a while so getting in pts now won't give you the same kind of advantage as the 2013 through April 2014 pts participants had. Timing is everything.

So, are we talking persistent test like EQ2, or "it only goes up when a patch is due, for two weeks, and you get to transfer your characters" like WoW?

Because the latter doesn't allow for much other than "let's see how fast we can learn the new content for realm first".

I think it will be more like a glorified beta. Might be good in that the chances of more bugs being found and reported will be higher. The downside is that content gets exhausted quicker if everyone is allowed into this pts/beta. Thinking specificially about Dark Brotherhood/Thieves Guild type content going forward and not raid content.

Hu? Advantage? This is the main problem with the PTS player ZOS have now I think. YOU DO NOT play on the PTS server to learn new raids before they are out. The main reason for PTS players to play there is to report all the bugs and give feed back so ZOS have better chance on releasing a patch that does not brake more things then it fix for a change.
