You've made ghost zones after Craglorn

People that really like questing will still do them. I zerged bosses from 7.5 to 10 since the patch made a the pve zones unplayable solo. Now that it is(almost) fixed I am back and I will probably finish everything halfway to 12).
If you really want to do the quest you would do them anyway for the money, gear etc. I actually support being able to grind VR1 to N even if I enjoy questing because I know people do not.

Yes, I do too, variety is key.

Re questing in VR areas: Or they could do the quest for the quest's sake, regardless of any material gain, because most are interesting enough and some are really great. People forget that the heart of these types of MMOs beats around the quest. Non of this min/max, power-leveling, end-game-materialistic-grind-for-loot rubbish that the loud minority come to the forums to incessantly whine about and think should be given front-and-center.

People have forgotten what these MMOs are about They are their own worst enemies.
If you can be anything, be kind.

LOLOL. Go ahead and level in craglorn, how many quest skill points are you missing? Dozens? I rest my case.

I'll level vet levels in a few days and then you'll take weeks to level and you'll get your dozen skill points.

Then... I'll go back and get everything I missed in a few hours. You're allowed to go back in case you didn't get the memo.

    Before 1.1.2:
"Why do I have to do other alliances zones to get to max lvl?"

    After 1.1.2:
"How can I do other alliances zones when there is no one around?"

You wanted alternative method to get to vet 10 and now you have it. So it is natural that the population splits. Some people like to grind mobs, some like to quest and explore. Tell me please which group will cry faster that there is nothing to do in this game.

And one more thing: even if the zones are empty this will mean that no one will break my immersion

Sadly the Aldmeri areas are boring (hib/treehugger/hippy realm), and if I do not have to go there, and instead exp in Craglorn; good!

Agree with the op. I was in Eastmarch last night (vet lvl 9) and it was empty. Dolman and world bosses are not on the cards any more and I'm having to solo public dungeons. Just feels like playing skyrim with lag.

People who say this lets them skip an unnecessary leveling process forget the coming importance of ACHIEVEMENT POINTS.

Dyes unlocking, etc will be bound to achievement points, and there are achievements tied to completing these maps.

Veteran Content is just their version of Trials of Atlantis. Matt wanted to make the same mistake twice.

The people who think that dyes are of major importance are probably the same people that really like to quest V1-12 :-)

Yeah, nobody plays MMO's for looks, that's why you've got 10 races in this one with myriad customization options and 3 armor set weights with 14 styles.

Sure, there are people paying upwards of 100k for some motif, but these people probably wouldnt mind to grind out the quests for some dyes.
    Thats all i was saying.

In fact i think things like dyes are a proper incentive do to some content that is not (no longer) mandatory.

Also i did not say nobody, reading comprehension for the win.

starting to think zenimax is using elder scrolls name to get a fast cash in and not giving 100% in making the game the best it could be, dam suits

No, instead you tried to marginalize those who care about dyes as if it's something exclusive to casuals/people who don't care for Craglorn farming.

And Daedric motifs haven't cost 100k in a good while, I don't know under what rock you are living. I bought mine for 35k. The average is 40k.

I am sorry if i offended you.
I do not think of anyone who does not craglorn farm as some kind of lesser being.
I do not think someone who likes to quest is in any way worth less than other players.

Thats why never would have thought that it is offending for some people to be compared to them and made a thoughtless joke that obviously hurt your feelings.

I hereby confirm that also the most hardcore and grind loving players will, in some cases, really love to color their toons daedric armor.

Disclaimer: I don't want to say that hardcore and grind loving is the same, there is only an intersection of hc AND grind loving. I don't want to affront anyone.

The state of the game is like this...

    identify-uncut-rough-diamond-800x800.jpg

What the game should be is this....

And to get there you need to polish the game...

Rift had the best grouping system I have played in any game. It also had a really nice system for leveling down to run content with anybody, anywhere, and getting appropriate XP and gear (for the lower level). Rift also had an easy way to respec and try out different builds that wasn't so punitive. This game would be so much better if it took some of the great elements of other games.

I dont think its a problem at all, all those solo people who "loved" to level solo can just quest in the vet zones, and those who want to group activities can go to Craglorn.

While i am all for Craglorn and the possibility to grind in a group, i dont think soloing 50++ is very entertaining, especially World bosses and Dolmen.
Without the Delves, World Bosses and Dolmen you will never ever reach VR10, let alone 12.

Real issue: Veteran Content SHOULD HAVE rewarded Skill Points and been more optional than it is, kind of peacock type stuff. It would play well with avoiding having to pay for respecs.

Real Fix: Make Veteran Levels reward Skill Points.

Probable quick fix: Massive nerfs to Veteran zone leveling to speed up the process and make it commiserate with easy it is to enter LFG and queue for Craglorn.
