How Can I Make This Computer Better for TESO on Ultra?

Jadman

I am currently in the process of developing a gaming computer for running TESO on Ultra settings and max view distance with no issues. What adjustments could be made to make this better? ($1200 is my budget excluding the operating system). Can anyone help me out? Am I missing something or overshooting something at all?

a 120gb SSD with your OS and the game installed on it would do AMAZING things for loading screens and overall computer speed, but of course that would break the budget. I would never build a computer without an SSD

    something like that

Build looks good though, i prefer Asus video cards to Evga though but the 770 is the best bang for you buck and more then enough to handle this game on max, there shouldnt be much, if any price difference between evga and asus

Ok, was just looking through for an asus one to link you and noticed you have a 4gb gpu atm, thats not needed for this game, it really wont help you much, so heres an Asus model that saves you $90

You would definately see much better performance downgrading to the 2gb gpu and adding the SSD with about a $10 change in price

Are you sure you need a 750w power supply for that? Unless you plan to run SLI later or tack on more parts as you go, you can probably get by with a 600-650w and save a few bucks. The rest looks decent for what you want to do.

You meet all the requirements, but the game is still pretty laggy at times. It really depends on the server stress and how many other players are in your area.

He makes a good point aswell i actually ran dual 670's off of a 750watt psu at one point, but theres also the fact that power supplys dont always give you whats rated so its better to play it safe, also not much money to be saved downgrading to a 550watt

8-16 gigs of ram and an SSD with an intel processor of the new series and GTX 700+ should just about do it.
