No, they worked their asses off to push out new content. The bugs that should have been patched were ignored in favor of slapping another selling point on the ads.

Zenimax is not family or friends. They're a company producing a product to turn a profit. I don't need to give patience or appreciation, I'm already giving cash.

Isn't that what the beta test was for? Why weren't these bugs ironed out before release? Why wasn't Craglorn bug tested before release? Why was developer time spent on craglorn while game-breaking bugs+exploits still abound in PvE and PvP?

I would be honored. Yet the truth is I am not on Zeni's nor Bethesda's payroll in fact I am sorry unemployed east european neckbeard gamer-f---. Still I feel entitled to express my full support for the game and the way it is being introduced and worry about useless negativity it receives. Ridicule me and tear me apart further if you want. Or we might try to put together some constructivity (oh you said you've been feeding jewels of suggestions all the time? i did not hear it in the noise of whinning)

Where do you suggest people with trouble in patching, game bugs and billing issues should post then?
This is Customer Support forum, not a ' I want to show my support to the game by belittleing other peoples problems with the game.'

That's right, but nobody really reads other forums, do they?

    So you're trolling.

OH MY GOSH WHAT A SURPRISE.

Nope, just wanted to be read. Not to flame. Not to upset anyone no more, but to suggest patience and tolerance and yes, rub Zenimax's bellies a bit (dunno if i did) because I love their game with bugs or without. Must be really strange poster....

You're posting in a section which consists mostly of frustrated individuals who clearly aren't big fans of Zenimax currently. I like their game, I'd love it if it worked and there were no bugs. Put yourself in my position, if you couldn't access the game and were told you'll probably half to wait a week in order for your downloads to refresh so you can re-download the game client because Zenimax doesn't test their patches before releasing them. All the while the sub you purchased is going to waste due to a fault which isn't yours in the slightest.

Two sides to every story. I don't normally post about this sort of stuff, but hey, I'm paying money for a game and it's becoming increasingly obvious that perhaps ESO needed another year of beta.

Dear fellow players, before you blame and flame and demand money back and who knows what... can you please stop for a moment make sure that on your side, on the client side everything is in state it should be? Updated? Latest drivers? No fishy processes running in memory?

You know folks at Zenimax are working their asses off to resolve all those bugs. Yeah there are tons of them, there is worth of mountain or two of bugs but it is always and everyshere like this and I personally (being developer and support guy some time ago) I like to observe the process. With patience, understanding and appreciation. Guys debugging and fine-tuning projects like this takes time and effort and with every fix and closed ticket the game is better. I can feel it. Can't you?

Yea that 2.5 sec lag time on my 1.1 sec biting jabs give me more free time to stand there and "feel it". Thanks for the lol so early in the am...

THIS! RIGHT HERE! I know THESE feels.

Concrete-solid roadmap they need follow IMO - as with every SW product out there today - or shareholders will whip their sorry ...bottoms. Then I don't really believe you can provide valid insight into how many bugs were reported how many worked on and how many were closed with fix. And how proportional the resources are for bugfixing of this scale. (Sure it is not our fault if they don;t have enough ppl/time/whatever for it - yet I fancy those minds and hands delivering the work)

Yes here comes the notorious problem with "once I paid everything is mine" ("including the right to criticize without purpose or real benefit to anything but to demotivate to do good job") Well if I have my favorite shop where I but good things I like I'll always support it and people there. And they support me back even more. Pay+eat+[snip]_you vs. Pay+eat+appreciate_you model you know...

I don't know. I would speculate they were short of resources or prioritized the way that seemed right. Seems to me realistic.

@wrlifeboil‌ so because YOUR PC failed at patching that means everyone is ***? The vast majority of players patched fine. People really only come to the CS forum to complain... Or they come here to have something to do at work...

What? People come to customer support forums to post about their problems with the game? Who would have guessed...

Hey, all. We're closing this thread, as it is not seeking game support. While we're happy to hear that there are players who have enjoyed a smooth patch, we are aware that others have not, and are working to troubleshoot and resolve their issues.
