I'd like to hear the feedback of the Templar community. I'm not speaking of the bots that all average joe Templars are now being punished for by Zenimax.
I logged in today with the expected skill point refunds for deadly bash and master ritualist. What I did not expect was the shattering of my sword and board / bow build.
Play the way you want to play, the Zenimax mantra. What a crock. I played 2H until VR content and then had to respec to sword and board to survive VR content. Now I'm back to a coin toss at two or more mobs due to the ridiculous knee jerk response of developers.
Biting jabs is now like a death sentence when faced with multiple mobs. Its like being stunned at the end of each biting jabs cast. I can't heal, cc, block or do anything but get slapped in face by mob attacks.
Blizzard entertainment refunded all skill points when major changes were made to a class. The fact that their respec cost was about 10% of what ESO costs only highlights how unfair these stealth nerfs are to the average joe player. The average joe player who is paying a monthly subscription fee only to be slammed into playing one play style and eat the cost of a respec.
My repair bill for todays lesson in how broken the Templar sword and board build was 1,809 gold. I'm currently VR6 and have come to the realization that I will have to spend well over 20,000 gold to continue leveling my Templar in VR content.
How is the refund of a few skill points reasonable? Even with the shattered Templar resource management which has never been resolved, I still enjoy the game.
Now myself and likely a great many of the Templars in VR content will be forced to respec to a destro / resto build to have a chance of seeing VR10. I want my skill points back.
I'd also like to be able to play any style I want but apparently Zenimax wants no Templar tanks in the game.
